For 2004.5-2007 W203's....
Front Brake Pad- Akebono Ceramic
Rear Brake Pad- Hawk Ceramic
For 2001-2004 W203's
Front Brake Pad- Hawk Ceramic
Rear Brake Pad- Akebono Ceramic
I have already installed Hawk Ceramics on the front of my 04. They are very quiet and ZERO dust. I bought Akebono's for the rear, but haven't installed them yet. Akebono's get great feedback from people on this forum.

Ok, lets see if I understand this right.....You are syaing that the Akebono pads fit the 2004.5 C230 and the C32, but NOT the '05-'07 C230, C350, right??
So who has front pads for the front of the newer cars??? Someone out there has had to change out their '06 by now.
front calipers 444 apiece.
rotors 90
pads 74
caliper brake 96
all thats for the front.
rear calipers 156
pads 42.50
rotors 41

a whole bunch of us Coupes went to AMG C32 brakes early on.....

As I was saying before, the price you are paying for the rotors is good, but the calipers seem quite expensive.
Welcome aboard, and if I could make a small suggestion, the search function is your friend.

Outrageous.
FYI- you don't need to do the back brakes, not much difference when you're talking about C Class. The price on the calipers above is ridiculous.
PM me and I'll send you info on a dealer that won't rape you that many of us already use, in Florida. Last I looked they were about 250 each for the calipers, 90 for the rotors, and then I would go with Ceramic pads (Akebono for 90). Stock pads sux.
Only other thing you need is a sensor for about 5 bucks.
And yes, I have C32 brakes. Can't tell you how much they really do come in handy...brake fade is something you rarely need to worry about, compared to stock (unless you're in Europe and drive 150 a lot, like NLBenz).

I met a guy at the meet in Pasadena with
a mid 90's Euro E Class with an M111 motor, which he did turbo....and
was driving. But his engine was older series, wasn't even SC'd to begin with so maybe less complicated to do?
All non-AMG pre 2004 C-class and all luxury sedans should have the same pads (single piston floating caliper)
2004.5 C230, some early 2005 C230's, all C350's, all C32's and all C55's use the same pads. 4 piston fixed calipers
rest of the 2005 C230's and 2006/2007 C230's use another type of pad, dual piston fixed calipers.
I am not sure what the 2005 C320's have, although I belive they are the same as the 2005 C230's with the dual piston fixed calipers.
clear as mud????
