aux audio in comand???
i have comand in my c240 and i've tried using the aux jack in the glove to have another audio source... it doesn't work... has anyone in here actually used this feature and had it work in the u.s.??? if you have did you just plug it in and go... or is there a fuse i might be missing somewhere??? help please!

xc240x, In the previous few posts on this subject, folks were using the aux-in jack in the glove box as the audio input jacks for external mp3 players. In which case, people were having luck simply with plug and play. My understanding is that the glovebox jack is not related to power, fuses, etc.
I don't have Comand myself, but was trying to help with a recollection of previous posts. I don't know whether the Aux-In is a high level or mid level input... some of the audiophiles need to help with that. Does your input device have both Line-Out and Phone-Out features? Have you tried both?

Make sure you switch over to aux input in the service settings.

This is the one I am using. Just a simple stero cable from Radio Shack.
It is possible that your line out level is too low.
Try something with a headphone-out but turn the volume down first and raise it gradually.
You shouldn't have any problem as long as you can jack a headphone into the music device and hear something.

Turn the volume way up.....
I think I may have said this in the last AUX port thread.....but don't forget to turn up the volume. I had to increase my volume significantly more than the volume I use for the radio and CD.

OK, don't everyone start laughing, but maybe you should see if the service monkeys can get it to work???
Based on your previous posts/threads, it sounds like you have exhausted almost all possibilities.....maybe it's a hardware issue.
