Oil filter for C230
So I roll out to Mercedes Benz of Cincinnati to pick up a new oil filter for my first DIY oil change. I get home, get the oil drained, and the filter out when I realize they sold me the wrong one.
Thanks MBC.
Get's better, I go back out, he takes those back, gives me two more. But this time I had the old one with me. Yep, he gives me two more that are wrong.
Finally corrected the problem, but the question is, CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE RIGHT FILTER NUMBER TO BE USING? I think i've got the A271 now.
04 C230K Sedan.
On a side note, the car made it to the shop and back with no oil in it and no filter. Go Benzo.
Thanks MBC.

Hey buddy dont do that to us again. Some of us have close relationships with our engine. I swear she talks to me. And to not LUBE her vally's and crevices is just down right wrong. Keep her well lubed and she will treat you right.

Nick, you had me doin' this
But when you said it was a joke and you had your car on blocks, I was thinkin'...
Had me there for a second. Best way for them to get the exact filter you need is to give them your VIN. That's the only way the can't miss and if they still miss, they're just idiots.
