New mods from MBenzNL

I got a few new mods from Steve on Saturday. I had the COMAND video adapter installed, the Designo Lava Red interior trim, and the Euro convex mirrors. I am extremely pleased with all of the mods and the mirrors are awesome, I just wish I would have gotten them sooner. Anyway, thanks to Steve & Wanda for making all of this possible, and to Erwin for letting us invade his house once again.

There is something approaching that in a pale timber. But not as light as that.

Great install

John, it was great seeing you again. Glad you like the mods, they look great. I especially like the dvd player connectoin, it was "Kicking & Screaming" on your way home right. Just be sure to "LISTEN" to your movies and not watch them.

As always, I was glad to help out with Steve's midwest leg of his trip. Although I did not get any installs (can you believe that), it was still exciting to see all the big smiles in all your faces when you got your new "toys."

Let me know about the wheels, like I said I'll "hook" you up. Don't let the price be a factor as long as you like their style, their yours just let me know when you want them.

For 3pcs costing $1700 ? Woodgrain Pcs cost like $200. So why would the Yellow one cost $1700 for 3pc ?

1700USD mentioned by sunman is for a fill set for a sedan...not just the 3 dashpanels for a coupe.

Carlos,

One of these days I may just come out and see you guys. I have plenty of vacation that is long overdue and I would love to see So. California. A few more things need to be done to the coupe so I can look good next to you.

John,

I'm in KC regularly for business, I'd like to see your car sometime when I'm down that way. BTW, new console looks great. Didn't think I'd like it when steve first announced them, but it looks great in the car.

Dont mean to fly off the orginal topic, but were can i find more pics and info of the wood kits? I like the sports look and price of the c230 but was going to go for a c280 due to interior looks of wood. I think i might be able to get my 230 and add the wood which i never thought of before. What do you guys think? Or any other ways around my problem.

Wow i need that euro command!! But can you modify it somehow so it can play dvd? Even when the car in motion? If so, definitely ill get one.. If not i will just get aftermarket dvd + gps like pioneer which is touch screen

Pre 2005 Euro and US CD-rom comands for the C-class can be versioncoded for TV / DVD while in motion, BUT... you will need 'help' of an external device, such as an aftermarket video adapter or an MB TV tuner.

2005+ Euro DVD comands also need an MB TV tuner first, before one is able to watch TV and / or DVD. However, TV / DVD while in motion is not something we can versioncode... at least, we have not (yet?) found a way around it.

greetingz,

BigSis
