It'll be fine with 18's....

Two things though (not intended to flame, just "constructive criticism"):

1.) don't post your question twice
2.) PLEASE stop typing like you're 12.

The good thing about NYC is the roads are glass smooth so you won't notice a difference. Depending on tire size and if you lowered your car will determine if it will rub. Stock height with tires of the same diameter and it will be the same as the 17". The difference comes with 19" where the tires are of larger diameter and people lowerd their car. Out here in So Cal where the roads are rough, lots of pot holes and such you will notice a ride difference to 18". Also be careful what wheels you get, not all can fit over the large brakes in a 2005.

Probably won't mess up your ride, but with all those crate holes in NYC, you should expect getting a couple of bent rims if you decided to go with HREs.

Try finding someone on here that has a renntech kit already installed to see if there are any problems. I was interested in a Kleemann kit but now I'm looking more towards Digi-Tec because of what it offers. Read this thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/126957-evosport-kleemann-pullies-c230k-ss.html. Get the K&N as soon as you can but don't get it if you look into the Kleemann kit because it's already included.

use the search option some more... i am sure you did because you PM'd me so that's a good sign. Good luck with the wheels... i just got back from wheel repair shop. All my wheels are now non repairable.... bringing the tally up to 5 effing wheels. Just gives you the warm and fuzzy doesn't it? The ride is fine with 18's... a little choppier but nothing horrible.... still smoother than other cars. Best of luck to you......

Go 19's, it'll look much better than 18's. HRE's are expensive... we all know that. Search first before posting new questions on here please.... there is tons of info on this forum.

Umm.. From 17" to 18 " that's not much of difference for the look if u dont lower the car. Considering the road condition in "NEW YORK" city, i would guess the rim is more for the look not road handling . So as long as u drive smoothly, I think the ride of 18 19 should be similar. I will say go for the 19"

And I hope ppl reading this thread wouldnt mind I say "we" all noticed u are from NY.

just get the right tire size depending on the size of the wheel and you should be alright. i know here in SF have some phucked up roads as well and have to take that into consideration if you're going to get low profile tires.

Samhsu, that's a sweet ride bro. BTW, where can you get those front euro license plates? I've been wanting one of those for a while now.
