thanks... i'm going to give these guys a try since my hoen just burned out...
nlpamg: any comments about the seller's disclaimer?...
"There is a switch that adjust the setting from automatic or manual light. The NO ERROR LED license bulbs will not show error when it's in manual setting while in some model/year, will show error when the car is switched to the automatic setting. And the LED license bulbs still work fine even it shows error under the automatic setting."

jcnash,
my car does have a warning system for the number plate bulbs but i have had no problems with the bulbs.
i can only go what i know from 20 cars in my circle. out of those only 1 person has an issue and his car is 12 years old.
having said that, there are cars ranging from 12 years old to brand new and no one has this issue.
sometimes you have to just give it time. when i first put mine in i had a warning message come up. i drove around for a bit and half an hour later it was gone.
since then i have only had it come up once - and that was when we had the severe snow a few weeks back.

Hmm...thats really strange because I have tried very similar bulbs from ebay on my car and they wouldn't even light up, and the error would be thrown immediately.
I guess Ill wait on the Hoen's that the other guys are trying out...see if that fixes this problem.
Thanks for the info man.

RE: reply to everyone
for everyones knowledge in regards to number plate bulbs i am telling you the ones i have explained in my earlier posts, are the right ones.
i dont even know 'midnight kompre ' but they have posted a message with a picture of the same bulbs i have been going on about.
they are the ones, no matter what anyone says.

RE: LED picture
Guys below is a picture of the effects of the lights.
Bearing in mind its a tough one to take, it shows well the white light emitted onto the floor. (Remember these are not the cheap blue lights)

The lights Phil posted from ebay in fact work with auto setting as well for us Canadians.
The new HOEN dled are still to arrive in the mail so I will also update on those once they show up.

I think you are referring to the other LED's that don't say error free on the eBay listing?

Hard to say, the auto feature may sometimes trigger the bulb out warning.
The pics from sainick are not the same as the listing Phil posted.
Wheels are 19x8.5/9.5 +31 all aorund. Had to cut and roll the quarter panel and inner fender. New setup for 2010 anyways.

RE: CLC Fog Bulbs
Guys,
I have HID kit installed on the car which i am loving, but i think its time to change the fog bulbs to bright white as well.
I have tried several different bulbs out, all of them saying the white xenon look, but all have failed to perform any where near half decent.
Any good links and info would be great,
Thanks

Just wanted to let yall know that I finally managed to figure out how to remove the lining on my cars hatch (its a coupe). Its a bit complicated...but once you know the steps its a breeze. Managed to remove the lining, then install a pair of 33ohm 5W resistors.
The white LED's make my rear look sickkk!! love it!
Total cost = $2 for the resistors + $7 for the LED's on eBay.
If anyone needs info on how to remove the hatch lining on your coupe, let me know.
Cheers!

Rear License Plate Bulbs
My rear license plate bulbs are out and i want to change them to something different. I dont want those boring yellowish bulb but i have no idea what/where i can get the whiter bulbs. LEDs flicker and cause messages on the MFD. I was wondering if you guys have change those bulbs to something brighter/whiter without using LEDs.
Im in a huge process of fixing up my car as i have 4 malfunctions, but i want to do a few mods as im changing some things out.
thanks
