Hello,

I have try the ones of the photo and other longer that have 4 SMD leds.

They are completely rubish !!!!

How have you connected the led's? I think that putting 4 or 5 in serial (depending the led Intensity) you even shouldn't need intensity limit resistors).

Another way is put them in paralel.

Best Regards.

Although it is possible to not use resitors to drive the LEDs (not Load equalizers, load equalizers will always be needed) But it all depends on what voltage the LEDs run at, LEDs need to be fine turned to the correct current, in order to obtain maximum output, the best way to do this is with resistors. Whatever extra current or lack of current can be taken up or giving out by the resistor as it will act like a buffer. Without a resistor, you will not be able to adjust to a correct current for the LEDs.

I know, but just don't see why you use 3 SMD resistors for 4 leds.

Best Regards.

That is because wach one of my High Intensity LEDs, run at 3.3Vs. If you have 4 in row that'll need 13.2Vs. Car battery 13.6, If you are running low are batteries, you coulr still run the LEDs with no problems. Instead of having them cut out at a higher voltage.

Best Regards.

fight on for ol' SC!
both bulbs are not facing at same angles on mine.
gonna get some new lenses (current one melted little bit) and play around this weekend for better shot.
u can really notice the brightness when there isn't much light around.

Mine aren't facing the same way either, it's good enough, but yeah I need to try to align them.

How did your lenses burn out? Did you have more powerful incandescent bulbs prior?

I got my LED's today but one of them isn't working. I sent you a PM Dion.

Other than that the parts look awesome. I can't believe you created these because they look so professional.

PM me your private email address and I will send you the pictures I took of the one that isn't working.

I'm going to try it again today and swap it around and see if I can get it working before I send it back to Dion today. Thanks for the advice.

Do you know if they still sell it? You would not happen to know what the shop is called would you? Phone number from a receipt maybe? I will make a 30 mile drive to get them... Thanks.
