MB-BOB - can you please check in with mileage & any problems you've had?
Hey Bob, Bagwell checking in....I sold my C320 a while back, but was just curious about how your car has been....if you have a minute can you list any problems you had which entailed bringing it (or having it towed) to the dealer and how many miles you had when the problem(s) occured....along with current mileage?
I just bought a 06 Lexus IS250.
TIA

Hello, mate. Long time no see....
After 4 years and 10 months, my C320 has 40,500 miles on it, and running quite well. It always starts up when needed, goes exactly where I point it, and continues to go until I turn it off. So, it's never stranded me anywhere.
There was a small transmission leak, which the dealer spotted at my first "A" service and corrected before telling me about it. Other than that, I've had the tie rod end and swaybar bushings replaced, cupholder and the A/C flapper replaced, all under warranty.
Electronically, I had the typical memory problems within the power seats, windows, sunroof and outside mirrors, so most of the memory modules have been replaced under warranty. More important, the memory problems have not recurred.
Other than gasoline, I have had no expenses on the car, other than normal maintenance: I replaced the tires at 28,000 miles and installed new brake pads at 34,000.
That's it. I think I'll keep this car for a while.
Didn't know Lexus made an IS250, but you're forgiven, anyway.

2. its a lexus, so steering feel (effort) is very lite which my wife loves.
3. I get 27-28mpg in 70% city 30% highway driving which is great.
4. car is very quiet, solid feeling.
5. its about the same size inside.
6. not as classy as having a star on the hood.
7. japanese quality build.
