NEW Mercedes-Benz White Star Flat Hood Badge for C-Class W203!

We're finally starting to see these on cars other than black, white or silver. LOL!
Um, some of you guys need to edit your signatures to include "WHITE STAR Flat Badge."

Because I had the flat hood star I had to clay bar and wax my hood where the old emblem was because of the ring left behind. 95% of it went away, but their is still one small area where I can still see it
, but I had other people look and they can't see it

There has been a lot of discussion comparing my WHITE STAR Flat Badge with the plastic SLK badge. My customers tell me the WHITE STAR Flat Badge shines more in the light.
So, I decided to test this by photographing both badges, shot in sunlight, to compare how both badges pick up the light, side-by-side. Obvously, the WHITE STAR Flat Badge is on the left, while the SLK badge is on the right. The facets within the WHITE STAR field do seem to catch the light more (by design), accentuating the white star and the contrast within the badge in general. But that is my opinion... you can be the judge.

She also likes nlpamg's Christmas tree ornament idea. Good out of the box thinking. I like the desktop stand also. When are you going to make these available, dude?

Because the car is almost 4yrs old, with 71k on it, my original hood star needed some 'encouragement' to come loose. After getting it to break loose, installation time was about 3 seconds.
My first impression was that the nose of the car was definitely cleaner looking. My second impression was that washing/drying the front of the car will now be much easier.
The badge is definitely a nicely made piece. It looks like the piece that the factory should have made in the first place (although I understand that there are those who feel that a Benz is incomplete without the gunsight on the hood).
Thanks DFW. It's nice to see that there are still some people who take pride in what they do! (And thanks for the prompt delivery)

A member came by my home over the weekend and we installed a WHITE STAR Flat Badge on his CLK55 AMG. Here are some pictures...

In most cases, one can untwist the upright star with the thumb and forefinger. But in cases where the star has been on the car for years, a gentle nudge with a pair of pliers is all that is needed. Once loose, you can swap between upright and WHITE STAR Flat Badge in seconds...
will the one from www.formymercedes.com be good?
im dyingg to get 1

This part should look awesome on my white car.
