My Maximum Speed: 105 mph
Very stabile, more wind noise on the coupe, but the sedan also felt very nimble at speed....funny thing, the service advisor asked me if I really hit 105 in the E....they must have checked the computer.

My Max Speed: Idicated 135
Comments: Very stable, was really surprised it went past 130. It was a two lane straight road with @ three miles open with a slight down angle 5 am cool temps with high humidity.

speed: 160mph
comments: going down hill and in the turns so it reached 160 before I even know it and common sense kicked in and slowed down. This was 2am with no car in sight for miles. VERY stable, but I'm on coilovers. This is only the second time I've gone this fast. The last time I went up to 158 and car was stock back then felt less stable.

My Max Speed: Idicated 130mph
Comments: Nice and easy, could probably stretch another 10mph max if tried. Was crusing at 110-120pmh all day across france while on holiday until I was overtaken, sped upto 130mph to keep pace until they left a few miles down the autoroute, back down to reasonable speeds after that. Mid afternoon, sun shining, hardly any traffic, no cops, gotta love them french autoroutes...
Also - you guys can take the 130mph limit off right?? Its right there in the settings - used in Europe to limit whilst using snow tires..
Country: Wisconsin, USA
Max Speed: 120mph
Comments: After dropping off my parents at O'Hare airport, I was cruising alone back to Madison, WI. It was a Sunday morning and traffic was sparse, so I gunned it to see how fast I could go. I backed off at 120 because the car feels a little unstable at that point.

Max Speed: about 125 or so on the Jersy Turnpike. I have taken it up over 120 numerous times and made it from Boston to my buddy's house close to the redskins stadium in Maryland in 5.5 hours (Mass & Cnonecticut were just a blur).
Once on a quick trip to NYC I remember running with this e46 Bimmer (325i, m/t) on the Turnpike and distinctly remember accellerating @ 120 but at those speeds it really isn't advisable to look down. We werent racing per se but were just driving at elevated speeds and encouraging teh each other to keep up. No crazy passing or lane changing tho: i would lead for a while, then he would take teh lead, and so on and so on. I did notice that when I dropped to 5th @ 110 and punched it, he couldn't match my accereation but would soon catch up. He was never able to pull on me at all. Dude could drive and I think he gained a newfound respect for teh W203 that day

My Maximum Speed: 130 mph
Comments: I was standing on the accelerator but the limiter won't let me do more lol. Straight line stability is good. On curves, I think the stock suspension is too soft. Too much body roll and it gets kinda scary.
Me want autobahn tooooo lol. You can drive fast (not reckless) and concentrate on driving without having to worry about who might be waiting beyond the next hill =) Oh yeah, and I wish people here won't drive slow on the left lane. If the traffic is congested I can understand. But sometimes no one is in front of him and no one is beside him but he just decides to be slow on the left lane and won't check his mirrors. Then I have to overtake him from the right which I don't like and I think is more dangerous too.
Yea, it's sometimes a bit of a pain to be on the inside lane when there is someone going a mere 65 mph. I think the inside lane is for people who want to be slightly above the speed limit, 75 or 80ish.
On the Autobahn, the inside lane is completely empty. People there have the concept that the inside lane is strictly for passing. Few people are in there unless they're going at around 200 mph or something extreme like that.
Sometimes I wished people would follow that rule on our roads. They should make the inside lane strictly for passing and for people who wish to travel at around 80 mph and up.
My two cents.
