Carbon Fiber Hood... Help
Just got the carbon fiber hood (Thanks to Brian). But i got a quick question. Would you install the shocks underneath this carbon fiber hood? The shocks are the two long pieces on the left and right side that holds the stock hood up without using any stick or hands. I've heard that shocks can crack the carbon fiber hood? Which i find it very hard to believe...
Frank you might know this since you're the Wizard of all Mercedes. Thanks in advance!

Ah i see... Thanks Drex! But if i use two, would that be fine as well?

you can use the struts for the hood. the vis hood are made strong enough as long as you don't abuse them. On the other hand you don't have to use them if you don't want to.

Let me know if you need any more help.

I'll post picture sometime this week. Bought it from Brian who just recently joined mbworld. 300 cash. Had to do some modification at a body shop for $30to get the carbon fiber hood aligned perfectly. VIS hood aren't made to the exact specs.
