I think you can put your amythest black under "metallic black". I apologize that I don't have a proper choice for your colour.

amythest is NOT black its a shade of Purple when i put "amythest/black" i meant Amythest Exterior/ Black Interior

You know the picture in the brochure, on the quick start owner's manual guide, and on the website. That's the colour I got mine in.

It looks exactly the same, same headlights, same colour, same interior colour, same body package, etc.

I never have to take pics of my car.

Sorry about forgetting the amythest. I went off the colour chart on the brochure, they don't have amythest anymore unfortunately. Very unique colour. We have an Infiniti that is in a similar colour in the family. Very rich and unique.

Very sorry, please consider yourself a "red". I went off the colour chart in the 2005 brochure. They don't have every single colour from every single year. The main idea of the poll is to get an idea of what colour(s) sell the best (besides black and silver).

Yes, I think amythest was in charcoal as well. Only the 2005s and newer came with black interiors. This is my understanding, I could be wrong.

That's a very nice colour combo. I have the black/black myself on my C230K SS, but the 02 E320 is Obsidian Black/Oyster. I have to say, traditionally the "Ash" colour from Mercedes looks very bulish gray. But the Ash in the 05 C230K SS is more similar to that of the Oyster in some of the previous Mercedes cars.

Very nice colour combo. I've actually seen several of them. I personally know a lot of people who don't like black interiors.

Comments: my interior choice is correct.
i want the grey before cause my old car interior is also black
and it was so hot in the summer, but at last i chose the black
i got the loaner car in may for the 1st serivce, white/grey 06 c280 4matic,
the interior was not in great shape, it has stain,
the leather insert is ok, but the side (the plastic) was a bit darker
although it's a loaner, it came out in Jan 2006,
but the condition is way worst than a few months old car.

my car salesman told me people should buy silver for german cars, red for italian cars, and green for british cars. He said those were the colors for the racing cars from those countries
