2006 C230 Navigation
I know it has been posted here many many times, but I need to get some things straight because I am confused:
1. Euro Navis will not perform navigation on US vehicles because of the outdated DVDs? If someone is using a euro now please inform me.
2. What model number fits my vehicle, 2006 c230?
3. Anyone have a navi for sale that will fit my car?
4. Any of the sellers on Ebay from Lithuania and such, are they reputible? Any experiences?
5. This swap of head unit needs no programming?
Any info would be awesome, hopefully I dont anger anyone with rehashing old subjects, but as technology changes I need to know everything before buying a unit. Thanks.

C320 Coupe
get this
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...unit=AVIC%20Z1
don't spend your money on Command cuz they don't worth that much for the money spent, the avic Z1 however, on ebay it's selling for 1500 USD and has tons more feature than the Command

Read this thread.

I think that's the best way to get MB-genuine navigation unit, currently. There is a rumor that it becomes a dealer-installable accessory starting from 2007.

Nothing MB related (sorry)
... when ordering an option from factory, it will always cost less than retrofitting it afterwards.

Note that that price doesn't include the DVD navi disk which costs $100 ~ $300.
Go for an external navi such as Garmin, Magellan, TomTom, etc.
You pay like $700, and get the same functionality. If you travel, you can bring it with you and attach to a rental car.
You can also upload your own POI's. Some of them double as picture viewer, MP3 player, bluetooth phone kit, etc.
But they don't have the nice integration with steering wheel buttons, of course.
