A bucket on wheels
265/30 or 255/19??? Which one?? Need urgent help
I need to order tires within the next 12 hours (yes that means once i get my a$$ to sleep and wake up i need to be on the phone) for my 19" wheels.
19x8.5 front
19x9.5 rear
I am going to go 235/35 for the front but i can't make up my mind for the rears. Will i FOR SURE rub if i go 265? What is everyone'es preference? I plan on lowering the car with tein basics within the next couple months as well.
Mods!!! Please keep this in w203 as this pertains to C class owners and fittment on C classes.

if you go with 235/35 in the front then go with 265/30 in the back so the front and rears are about the same diameter. if you do 225/35 in the front then go would 255/30 in the back. 265 will obviously look better as it is wider, i just hope your wheel offset will allow for it, you do have staggered wheels right?

then do 265/30, any decent shop in LA should know what to do if they ever need to roll your fenders. if you don't know of any shop, i would recommend STATUS in hermosa beach, they have a seasoned tech there.

If you're going 235/35 in front, go 265/30 in the rear.
255/30 will be slightly off from the front. In essence, your rear will not be as close (speed-wise) as the front.
Take a look at the tire calculator I put on this website. You'll see what I mean.

I have absolutely no rubbing issues. I guess it helps that my rear fenders came folded from factory.
