THIS IS OUT FROM NEW CAR W463 G55 AMG CLASS .
FIT ON

2001-2004 C CLASS
2003-2004 CLK CLASS
2001-2005 G CLASS

COMPATIBLE WITH NEW NERCEDES BENZ VEHICLES .
( THIS IS EURO COMAND , SO, YOU CAN WATCH DVD OR MOVIE ALSO, TV IN YOUR CAR ) ***

THIS AUCTION IS ONLY COME WITH THIS COMAND UNIT . NO CABLE , WIRE , AND CD ***

PS# This head unit is the EURO VERSION and can be used in the U.S.A. Instead of the SAT button in the US Version Cars, this has the TV / VIDEO button European comand is already repraming ready to watch dvd and tv . ( but , you need to get dvd player or tv tuner )

This button allows you to play DVD while IN MOTION. GUARANTEED!! ( BUT , YOU NEED TO GET DVD PLAYER ( ANY DVD PLAYER SALE ON ANY AUDIO SHOP OR FRY'S , BEST BUY ETC .. )

If you have the space in your center console or other place to add any car dvd player . your car to play DVD while in motion, just swap your original unit with this one and it will work. .

If you have navigation in your car, it will work also because you just need to plug it in. G CLASS IS PLUG IN PLAY . C CLASS AND CLK CLASS NEED TO REWIRE THE SYSTEM

WILL FIT ALL MERCEDES BENZ , BUT , NEED TO GET DASH TRIM AND CABLES !!!

WE WILL NOT REFUND OR TAKE RETURN , BECAUSE, ALOT BUYER DON'T KNOW HOW TO INSTAIL AND THEN JUST WANT TO RETRUN .

Here is a website where you can get installation instructions: http://www.ibex.co.uk/mbstuff/Retrofitting%20Comand.htm The installation is very easy.
I don't know man, I think this unit looks like complete crap compared to the Pioneer ones. That AVIC-Z1 is sexy as hell!!!

I've had the c330 for about a year now and it works great. I would have loved to have the pioneer monitors and navi like in my BMW, but this is more convenient since my girl uses it as well.

I did notice on Pioneer's website though that until October 1, if you buy the AVIC-xx (forgot which one) they will give you a free Pioneer AVIC-S1 portable navigation system. That's pretty cool, you can either save it for trips when u don't have your car or sell it on ebay and recoupe some of your cost on the installed navi. I think the portable ones are great to have. I'm going away to Puerto Rico in a coupe weeks for 7 days and I was surprised and very happy that my Garmin will be able to give me the opportunity to explore the island abit more

You guy have confused me...

I have seen the pioneer and the garmin c340....

ofcourse the pioneer kicks a**es but, its way too expensive for me to afford!!
in addition to after the checking the vehicle fitment, i did not see any mercs...it was all about audi's, vw's, cadillac's, acura's and some othr more...

I am so confused now and really do not know what to do...

I have started this thread having in mind to purchase the oen NAV sys, but after hearing all of yall's opinions, I think I have changed my mind!!!!

We'll seeeeeeeee

send an email to pioneer and ask them the fitment for mercedes. IMO the fitments are universal, should fits MOST of the vechicle that has space for double din.

btw S1 i believe sells for 500 bucks, but then you are talking about buying MSRP off the pioneer website, it's 2250 bucks up there, i'd rather go for ebay 1500 bucks, and with those extra money i can get myself a bluetooth addon, ipod integrated addon, and the steering wheel control device =)

I had a AVIC-D2 installed in my wife's 2003 C320 couple of months ago. It works great and the install looks great too.

Dont you guys know?

Navigation has been discussed here already. The BIG BROTHER MODERATORS will soon shut you down, watch out. This site is for searching only!!!! NO NEW POSTS OR THE MODERATORS WILL GET MAD!!!! They know everything and have documented everything about any MB car made. They have even tapped into the MB database and found all specs and problems for the future cars not even made yet!!! Dont mess with these guys.......they are the real deal.

This site is a farce for posts.

Prove it. Otherwise
Amdeutsch, in Europe you can find the interface for the Avic Z1 ONLY for MB w203 manufactured after june 2004 (pioneer part #CA-R-PI.131 http://www.pioneer.eu/files/pdf/02_C...C_ADAPTORS.pdf), Also there is a way (long shot) to use the IR from PAC, hacking the steering wheel buttons. This is more complicated since you have to place some connectors where the contact surface is... anyway, it's difficult.

This is also from Pioneer in Europe for IR adaptors:
http://www.pioneer.eu/files/pdf/02_CE_RC_ADAPTORS.pdf
CLK 99>02 CD-RA304ME
E Class 99>02 CD-RA304ME
C Class 00>02 CD-RA305ME
C Class SEPT 02> CD-RA310ME

Amadeutsch, by the way, this was already discussed in another thread, only if you had STFF ...

Navigation is a funny thing, the new models are rarely on sale for an amount worth discussing ($100 off is nothing for a $1,700 unit) and previous models drop in value like an old S-Class. I saw a new AVIC-D2 unit at Best Buy, open box, full warranty, for $450. Ebay is the same, just make sure your buying from a trusted seller.

As for the size difference, you can get an adapter (under $50) that will modify the opening of the stereo location for you to fit any aftermarket unit. It will look factory and you won't have gaps.

Aftermarket units own OEM units in many ways. Usually they have better screens, many many more Points of interest. The new ones are 'learning', have bluetooth, in car dynamics, rear camera options, I could go on and on. In fact, with the exception of the 'true OEM look' I don't know of one advantage for an OEM unit (well, it's cheaper, so price I guess).

Erik
Dude, I've searched high and low on the net and there's no way you can get this thing for under $800. I find it really odd that best buy would sell a unit that lists for $1200+ on thier website for $450.

Seriously, if you ever see a deal like that again, I'd pay you a $100 finders fee and whatever it costs to ship!

I'll give you 51% on this one. But keep in mind that he is not from EU and later admitted.
We all know that some stuff might be available in EU, as evidenced by one of our sponsors, that is not available over here.
But in either case
