Exclamation CLK63 AMG 18" rims on W203?

I STFF.........and did not find any results. And yes, I searched several times.

Would the CLK63 18" rims plug n play on an 06 C230 SS without any major adjustments or mods?

Please no witty or smarta$$ replies/answers. A simple yes/no with an explanation will be most appreciated.

What is the offset...that's all that'll really matter.

Thanks for the pics Harry!

NG:
I'm not really sure what the offsets are; a few months ago I was at a Dallas MB GTG, and a member had 18" AMG wheels (not from the CLK63), and it looked great on his W203. I asked him if he had to do any major adjustments or mods for installation and fitment, and he said no; he basically had his stock 17" removed and bolted the 18"s on. He also added that the rims with the new tires did not rub against the wheelwells, so I assumed any factory-spec 18" AMG rims could essentially provide an easy fit.

I absolutely love these rims! I want to keep my car stock with some factory AMG mods, and when I saw the rims on the CLK63 I fell in love with them. They're made of a lightweight alloy, so I imagine they could provide some weight-saving properties as well. Every little bit of weight shaved off helps, eh!?

here are the offset fot the amg wheels: they are the same on the cls and the clk....
A two-tone set of 18-inch wheels are used for each car. On the CLS they measure 8.5 inches in front and 9.5 inches in back, with 255/40 and 285/35 tires, respectively. On the CLK the wheels are 8.5 inches in back and 7.5 inches in front, with 255/35 and 225/40 tires, respectively.

The most important is the Offset, also called ET.
I have 18"x8 ET30 (225/40) and they fit well on my W203 (plug & play) but if the ET is 45 don´t fit.

These specs are from the AMG website....

The specs for the CLK63 AMG are as listed:

AMG Light Alloy Wheels:

Front: 7.5J x 18 ET 30
Rear: 8.5J x 18 ET 34

Wheels:

Front: 255/40 R 18
Rear: 255/35 R 18

With these measurements, it seems like it will fit? Any thoughts, guys?

Go for it. Those rims are hot.

If I can recall correctly, every pound of rotation weight saved = 8 static pounds. So hopefullyl they will weigh less than what you have.

Well Moven doesn't waste any time now do they? I wished they had the black inner part like the real AMGs. I guess it can always be painted.
