no coding needed but where did u get power. if you got power with the oem connection on the rear sam (single pin socket) then you will have to add a fuse to the rear sam.

I am unlucky, just got another error with cd changer. do you know how to rectify the "magazine empty" cd changer fault? thank you

just fixed the cd changer, had to take it apart and sort out the sliding motor gear. i do not buy junk, just been very unlucky...

anyway, four more problems to sort out:

1) remote central locking not functioning
2) no normalising of head restraints
3) memory function of seats/mirrors not working
4) air con ticking noise

any ideas???
I suspect something of the following
1)antenna amp, rear windscreen, 4 ground contacts to roof or something else?
2) seat memory modules, door control modules, headrest motors/sensors or something else?
3) seat memory modules, door control modules or something else?
4) broken gear, faulty stepper motor or something else?

what do you think? thank you

This might be as well the possibility since i cannot rule it out 100%

background information: a) replaced antenna amp to the one that accomodates the tv tuner as well, mercedes dealership told me that no coding required for the antenna amp. b) Also changed both door modules c) also added the memory seat modules, d) new rear SAM 2 days ago but this made no difference at all, e) new luxury automatic climate control, f) car was previously stripped down metal to change complete interior including dash, seats, door cards, flooring, roofing, boot compartment trims etc.

Any codings that should i check out amd might be related to my problems? Especially with my remote central locking which is my biggest headache at the moment. please let me know. thanks

You start with the EIS and then the cluster. You overlooked several EIS parameters previously so I would look into that again.
