That exhaust is beautiful, especially for a 6 cylinder. Is that the race exhaust and will it sound just like that on the c320 6speed?

I don't know. He posts on the SLK forums here and at benzworld.org. His user name is Periokid. You could go to those forums as ask him.

The sound from outside should be the same. It might sound different inside a coupe or sedan. but it will still sound good.

Eisenmann mufflers are great quality. It's the tip styles that not everyone likes.

I didn't receive an email, try emailing me directly at ben@evosport.com. Which "guy" are you referring to?

I e-mailed you. The "guy" I was referring to was the person with the SLK Eisanmann exhaust, I was just wondering which version he had.

Eisenmann
So I got my Eisenmann exhaust installed yesterday!!! Looks Great. I did have to trim about 1.25" off of the bumper it looks Professional. I'm going to post pics soon. And mpgs of how it looks and sounds. There is a big difference in performance. I just did get my car serviced, but with the exhaust it feels like I accelerate faster and it feels like my car is lighter. Driving in Touch Shift mode feels better than Auto. I especially notice the HP gain when I'm at 60mph and punch it to over 100mph. Nice Low deep tone. Not too loud. Perfect actually. Definitely added I would say from 6 to 10 HP.

I'll post pics later today.

Is it possible to order this exhaust with a 76mm tip instead of the 83mm?

The performance increase is most likely from the 10-20lbs in weight savings. Did you weigh either muffler?

Didn't actually weigh them, but I held both exhausts in each one of my hands and the eisenmann was way lighter. On the UPS shipping reciept the it was weighed at 22.6 pounds. That's pretty light for a full stainless exhaust. I know the exhaust is also available in 70mm tips, not 73mm. You might not have to trim the bumper on the 70mm.

I talked to Bekkers and they state that their is no 76mm option for tip size. That'd be the best solution though for not having to cut the rear valence. 70mm tips are just too stock looking for my tastes.

Sorry, Terry. I misread your post. I thought I saw 70 not 76.
