The shop who installed your exhaust would probably be able to recommend a resonator...it just welds on to the exising piping. They'd cut out a section of the pipe and weld on a resonator. It'd go in series with your exisiting resonator, so you'd have two in a row.

a 12-18 inch resonator will prolly put it at the sound ur gonna most likely want to tolerate esp. at high speeds. itll jus get rid of the droning and deeping it down a bit.

wow i didn't know they could do that! is there any type or brand of resonator i should ask for? it's gonna cost another $100 but i guess its worth it cause right now i feel like i'm in a cessna about to leave the runway

Nah, not that loud. I love the sound of it. Sounds mean and aggressive. give the car life. I notice myself using manual mode [tiptronic] more often then i've ever used. I just love the sound. Sounds better then rice. clean crisp note.

thanks, i didn't mod the cutout but i had to trim a little strip after it started melting since the pipes were too close, now they adjusted it so its got some clearance.

install cost a whopping $101.91 hahah, screw expensive tuner shops i took it to monro muffler and saved about $150

it looks like you have a straight pipe already. that piece is not the resonator, it is the secondary cat. the resonator should be right after that cat. i heard somewhere that 05+ models have a straight pipe...i guess its true

oh yeah thats right, now i remember the installer telling me that was a secondary cat! so i should probably get a resonator huh? i guess i'll ask them about it tomorrow.

Nice!!! Eisenmann is the way to go. It sounds really mean. My 06's stock exhaust looks very different and comes with a big resonator.

no the guy that installed it trimmed it just a little bit, he just shaved off the part that melted, it was really just a little bit

I took that silly second cat out and left the stock silencer it sounds perfect IMO

Sorry about the delayed reply I've been very busy lately but thanks my dude for the kind words but we might have to wait until summer time for stage 2, I just picked up my 2007 lexus ES350 Ultra Luxury metalic Royal ruby with Mark levinson voice activated Dvd /Nav sound sys,Dynamic Radar and pre collision sytem, so i'm working on two projects hopely I'll be ready to show the lex by early summer anyway's thanks again my dude.
