I'm going with the Kleeman exhaust muffler, regardless of price (for just the look of the trapezoid tip). I'm pretty sure the price that Kleeman told me directly was in the $800+ range. Can't remember the exact figure, but it was around there.
That really sucks that it's not a cat-back system for that price. What are the performance drawbacks? If the brabus is a cat-back, I wouldn't mind going with them but I can't find an official brabus dealer and mod shop in miami.

As far as I know, most of the aftermarket exhausts offered for the 240/320/230KSS are not cat-back. From what I remember in doing research, Supersprint has a cat-back. I'm pretty sure AMG has a cat-back, but not sure how much bigger the piping is.

I'm pretty sure Brabus does not offer a cat-back because from what I remember, they outsource the muffler from Remus and Remus did not offer a cat-back either.

Brabus and Remus actually make a resonator to fit with the muffler, to make everything bolt-on and become a cat-back system.

If you purchase the muffler alone, you have to cut your existing muffler off to weld the new one on.

SaRiDi, thanks for the clarification. I wasn't aware of that. Is this applicable for all w203 models or just the v6 and up models?

Yo drex, I'm there with you on the kleemaan trapeziod tip but what's the point on dropping that kind of dough on just a muffler? Man, what's up with the low support on our vehicles? It's like we have to go the extra mile to make something out of nothing. Kleemann says you shouldn't mix and match with their products and I thought this was more of a marketing scheme but my mod guy told me this is true. So now, if we want to but the Kleemann exhaust, we're stuck with just a muffler? WTF? They should just go ahead and slap on another 3 or 4 hundred dollars, make it a cat-back and call it a day. I wouldn't mind paying for it. So if this doesn't work out with Kleemann, I might just go with Brabus. I'm very concerned about doing the performance mods first and then the looks but I'm trying man! I truly believe in performance but I don't want to throw money in the wind either.

Thing is, if you want a cat-back system, you just need to have a mod shop do some custom piping for you. I don't know what the stock piping size is, but if a the Kleeman muffler needs to be welded onto the stock piping, you can always have an exhaust shop make piping for you. You don't necessarily need the resonator in order for the exhaust to function properly.

I believe it is applicable for all w203 model. And FYI, on 05 C230 Sport Sedan, we got the straight pipe. But I am not sure if that's the case on other model with Sport Exhaust.

I'm pretty sure the straight pipe would be applicable to my MY '04.5 because the exhaust should be the same (refresh with chrome oval tip), but prior to that, I'm not positive.

Eisenmann is NOT direct bolt-on, you still have to cut your existing muffler, or custom your own sound pipe. Plus it probably need slight bumper modification...........been there done that.......

This sounds like a beast! I just listened to the clip for the first time today. The thing is dragonAMG has a Kleemanized C55. If the sport exhaust has a similar deep tone, then there's no question I'm getting the Kleeman muffler!

I already know the price. I don't have the $$$ #'s with me at home, but I'll post the price when I'm at work. It's something in the $800 + range. Similar price to the Eisenmann brand new.

u may need to trim it a little bit as the AMG sport bumper does not have the big opening end like the AMG C32 bumper.

you must trim the the bumper. if you install it without trimming the exhaust is going to hang too low and won't look right.
