C320 Eisenmann Exhaust Fits C230?

Will a C320 Eisenmann exhaust fit a C230k without any problems? I read some posts that says you need an exhaust made specifically for a 4 cylinder or else its going to harm your the engine. Any one have any opinions on this?

? What? Isn't the Eisenmann only a replacement muffler? It's not a full cat-back system, so I don't see why this would matter. Now, if you're talking about an Eisenmann muffler attached to a fully customized cat-back piping for a 320, that's a different story. At that point, it would depend on the size of the piping and the design of the piping.

Regardless, the 230K is a force induced I4, which is very different from a non-supercharged I-4. I'm almost positive there are several people with 230K SS that run exhausts (e.g. Remus, Brabus, etc...) that were initially designed for the V6 engines (e.g. 240/320).

I mean the muffler not the full cat-back system. Also, are the inlets on the C320 and C230 the same?

the fitment should be the same but supossedly the back pressure is different for a 4 banger and a v6. i tried to do some research to see if the part number was the same, but found nothing.

i thought backpressure doesnt really matter on modern cars. the best backpressure would be none at all. could an expert clarify this?

Its just a little different from stock from what I hear. I rev my engine a little sometimes just to hear the noise and the only difference that I hear is the flutter type sound. I don't think it is a Brabus exhaust. I hope someone around this board knows what this is.

It's possible this is just the stock exhaust without the resonator, however, I can't see the exhaust tips on the video, so hard to make an accurate observation.

Renntech Exhaust

does anyone have the renntech exhaust for the c230/c240/c320 sedan? a lot of people get eisenmann, brabus, carlsson, and remus, but haven't read/heard much of the renntech exhaust?

it's about the same price as the brabus or carlsson exhaust too.

http://www.euroteckmotorsports.com/i...11&product=111

also anyone find any pics of what it looks like?

Borla Muffler in W203?

Does anyone have experience on this product? I still cant decide wether to go with borla or magnaflow for my C320. Any suggestions? Would be appreciated. Thank you.

in the world of custom exhaust magnaflow, flowmaster, or borla is the easiest way to go and setup a quad or dual system.

and Eisenmann is definitely up there, but not the best.

I have a Borla on my truck and it is awesome. Great fit, sound, looks. Can't speak to the other options or experience on your c class. Good luck.
