hey I found this at Smythe European on a used C55, wondering if anyone has seen the radio piece before. It is kind of tacky, but I am intereseted if anyone has a source.

For some reason, Metra took this kit off their website. The part no. you're looking for is 99-8712. You can find it on Autotoys.com, or just search for Metra 99-8712 on eBay, that's where I got mine. According to some guys on this forum, the fit is great.

okay, so I found the dash kit http://www.autotoys.com/x/cust/produ...cat=409&page=1

however I cannot locate a wire harness for 05+ I have a wire harness from my W202 but when pulled the radio on my W203 they were similar but the old one defiantly will not fit... what do you guys use for the wire harness?

You can use a late model BMW/VW/Audi harness. Either a Scosche VW03B or a Metra 70-9003 should work.

hey anyone know if the Scosche VW03B works for the 2005+? I have the metra 70-9003 but it is for the 2004 and earlier models...

I've been to a half dozen audio shops around here and they ALL say metra doesnt make a harness, but I know you guys have aftermarket radios...what harness was used or did you guys just hardwire the radio?

I finaly just gave up trying to sell my DVD player on ebay and decided to pop it in my car...

thanks all, happy holidays and happy new year!!

I'm only asking if anyone know what radio harness will fit a 2005+ C Class...

I haven't fully got it in my car yet, I am almost there, with the right harness of course.
