OIC. My bad. For halogen headlights, I'd say PIAA is the main one I'd trust that looks good. Many people have gone with Silverstars, but I'm kinda borderline on those. I'd say NOKYA, but they have a tendency to burn out quick. That's why I only have them for my brights (secondary light for my bi-x)

No matter what, I'd say upgrade to bi-x, but not everybody can afford that.

I'd upgrade them to bi-x, i have the bixenons on my ML and E500, its just that im not sure if i wanna spend too much on my coupey, kuz im always thinking about replacing the car, with a C350 or waiting till the W204s come

I herd Phillips Blue vision is ok? Ima using the superstreet ones...theyre alryte, was just wondering if there was any possible BETTER ones lol

Blake, since you're in the "nice" mood today, I'll be nice as well

Here are some pics of my car with PIAA 194/168 parking lights and Nokya Arctic White and Arctic Purple Fog lights (9006):

Yes, those are the high beams. I didn't mess with my high beams since I hardly have the chance to use them anyway.

Sorry, buddy, but Blake was being nice (also because you posted a pic of his car), but you really need to look at these threads first:

LINK: How to search the MBWORLD forums

LINK: Best movie ever

Lighting has been discussed, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over....

I think you get the picture.

The halogen high beams (h7) are used for the flashing function. HID's are not ideal for this type of function, in that, the xenon gas igniting on and off would not be good. That's why the bi-xenon application accompanied with the H7 halogen bulb (for the high beams), is a great setup.

I think I understand what you're asking. You have to push the lever forward to turn the high beams on. Pulling it back (like on most other cars) will only flash the high beams, but they will not stay on. If you're asking about having high beams on automatically when you turn your headlights on, then I don't even want to comment.

do you still need load resistors for the wedge bulbs to work? cuz i have a pair of PIAA's as well. not working. unless the specific pair on that site doesnt need a resistor, i'll buy that pair.

H7's halogens don't turn on unless the high beams are turned on.

Did you get LED PIAA's? If you did, then you will need load resistors and keep in mind that if you do have LED's, they are polarized based on how you insert the bulb (i.e. + or -)

If you didn't buy LED 194/168 bulbs, there should be no problem (unless the bulbs are busted).
