CITY/STANDING light change
read the manual

I changed my low beams no prob...I can remove and replace the high beams...for the life of me i can not remove the city/standing light....

manual says to pull it out..it won't budge and i am reluctant to pull with any force as I do not want to damage the wires...am I missing something?

(BTW...I did RTFM and search the threads...new here but not new forums..so please don't flame my ???)

Just pull hard. I had to pull by the wires and thought it might damage it, but they're pretty rugged.

i KNOW you do! i want to make some... but have been too lazy to research how. if you made a friendly DIY i would probably do it for both daylights and fogs.

but i hear rumors of someone doing angel eyes so im going to wait until that pops up and see how it turns out...

Its kinda difficult to grab, I just used some pliers and gripped it very gently and pull perfectly straight towards the engine, it will come right out...

Thank You for the contructive input I am going to give the pliers a try..then I will tug on the wires...but I really think that could get expensive if I pull to hard.....THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP!

have any pics?

I put in some "hyper-white" bulbs from the local pep-boys....not so thrilled with the look......doesn't match the silverstars....which themselves are a bit of a dissapointment.

digital car phones in MB
Hello, does anyone know about putting digital equipment in MB in order to replace the old factory installed analog phones? Not only did it cost me about $700.00 for the equipment but an additional $300.00 for a new phone. I think I may have gotten ripped off big time. Thanks for your thoughts.
