Mercedes-Benz Warranty
Anyway, so my brakes are grinding, and I'm not sure if this is the problem: a couple of weeks ago I swapped my Mercedes 16" Wheels for the Mercedes 17" Sport Wheels. Almost instantly the front brakes began making a little noise; I should also mention that I used the bolts from my 16" Wheels, didn't get new ones with the 17" Wheels. Please advise.

sometimes it's just dirty
and I don't know if the bolts are the same, but since it's mercedes brand wheels, it's most likely the same
but you might want to check the length to make sure.
Cause I know the 16" wheels has very long bolts, I don't know about 17". Just double check to be save
as for the bolts im pretty sure u can use the same bolts because its oem.

Tee_tz, if your brakes are defective in a way, then yes, MB should cover them but as far as normal wear and tear, its on your own dime

Thanks.
This sucks, I don't have much miles on the car, only 34,000 and I'm not aggressively braking or anything, so I'm thinking it can't be the brakes. Hmm... or could it?
How much are new brakes?

I changed my brakes twice in the past, once on a corolla and second on a prelude, when I found out that the service advisor wanted to charge me around $600 for just replacing front pads, nothing was wrong with rotors, just imagine if I needed to change those how much he would have quoted me. Anyways I learned quickly how to search these forums on how to replace the breaks, My main fear was the menu telling me my breaks were bad, and for the 03 w203 its just a little part you can buy at the dealer. I think I got sensors for $13.
Who knows when BMW will be the next to do away with free maintenance...
