Pic Request: red sedan with red grill

Pic Request: red sedan with red grill
Hi All........this is my first post here.....
I'm picking up a red/black 07 C230 tommorrow. It's going to be a surprise for my wife's b-day, but I wanted to hook it up before she sees it.
So far, i've got the hood emblem, rims, and brakes picked out....but i'm torn between these two mods:
1. Silver grill with emblem in the middle
2. Stock grill, painted red to match
Does anyone have pics of either? Any help is greatly appreciated....

I think on a red car for your wife the best thing would be the stock grille with the colour matched louvres..the silver grille with the star is very Masculine..and wouldn't go with red..

Thanks for all the input....
I like the way the black grill looks on a black car, but I was thinking that the equivalent for red would be a red grill. Has anyone seen this on a red car?
The reason I was considering the silver was because she had told me previously that she didn't like the hood star, but she prefered the grill star.

If it were my car, i'd go with the black, but like you said, it seems kinda masculine.

well i guess if you just want a quick matching reference as far as just the colour is concerned..you could click on the W204 thread and on the last page you will see the car in red with a silver sport grille that has the star..now..keeping in mind it is a different car..it might give you good colour persepective

theres a red w203 sedan, with the stock starless grill red, it looks hideous

I remember seeing a red sedan where the chrome border and slat edges were left chrome, but the slats behind were painted red. It looked great!

Thanks again for all the input....
This is another option that I was considering.....it would be much more classy than painting the whole grill red.
On a side note.....I just purchased the car from fletcher and will be surprising her soon....wish me luck......

Thanks man.....yeah, she loved it.
It has heated seats, xenons, 6 disc changer, rear airbags, and rear split folding seats. The only things missing are the navi, phone, and ipod connection. I took a look at the ipod diy and it seems pretty straightforward. That'll probably be the first mod, followed by debaging and changing up the grill.
