What's the ESM? Sorry, drawing a blank. Computer-related, right? How many miles do you have?

I would first check your tire pressures and for unusual wear (scalloping, uneven wear, etc.). One of those or a bent rim are the usual suspects.

If that don't do it, give the stealer a call! Hope that helps!

Who put the tires/wheels on and when? I ask because some alloy wheels will warp pretty quickly if you don't tighten properly (ie, tighten the bolts across from each other).

Also, if you didn't tighten bolts with torque wrench (or if you happen to be one of the 1% that can torque correctly by feel) then you may have warped the rotor or worse the hub.

I did that once - ONCE - but that $600 mistake was a solid lesson!

You mean it was permenantly warped? Usually you can just re-tighten, right?

in my opinion some people are two meticulous... i use an air gun for my wheels... i've never had a problem... other nuts, bolts, etc. like ones on engine parts or suspension I torque them (learned that lesson by breaking the head off a screw in my spindle), but wheels, i use air... then again, i've always had aftermarket wheels... i've never really dealt with stock wheels too often.

i have the same problem and have an appointment this week. after i dragged the service guy to drive my car, he admitted its very bad pulsation and unsafe. if the cars under warranty, like mine, they will replace all the rotors and perhaps the brake pads. don't know exactly, but i'll keep you posted when mines fixed.

Overtorquing the lug bolts is known to be one of the major causes of warped rotors. It's permanent. Machining is not recommended nowadays. Once they get warped, replace them.
