OUCH! Im pretty sure its just the panel. Connects from the inside to under a lil ways of the car. Part # should be on the backside/inside of it. but since thats obviously missing, I'm sure a member can provide one for you.

guess I better make sure that mine won't come off. I have a slight rubbing when backing up and turn all the way right. Funny part, it only happen to front driver part.

I've accepted the loss of the fender cover as "normal" wear and tear for lowered vehicles. For anyone running a low/aggressive offset and has lowered their cars - this happens. In fact, mine ripped off on the freeway, chewed up, spit out, kept going...stocked at the dealership, replaced... 3 days later gone in the parking lot - BUT this time there's enough of the covers (yes both) remaining that I'll be fine.

=D.

I lost both of mine. One ripped off on the highway, the other was torn to shreds just like yours. Just go to the dealership and ask for a replacement. Once you have the new ones, take a blow torch to it to heat up the plastic and bend as much out of the way as possible.

Or you could opt for the cheaper, safer, heat gun?

Hmmm, that's good idea. Maybe I'll do that to mine so I dont have to keep hearing the rubbing noise when backing up the car

Or you could mold those pieces with aluminum or other lightweight metal.

yeah the same day i picked mine up from getting the e63, that piece ripped off on the pass side and is currently shreddede on the driver side...on the upside no rubbing noises!

im having it trimmed and secured, so nothing flaps in the wind...but idk if im going to get them replaced...what function do they serve?? seems like they arent necessary, but someone please correct me if there is a great reason to get them replaced...

Whats your idea of low/aggressive offset - assuming this is only for the front. mj, whats your offset?

ET30 in the front, 18x8.5 less than a finger gap at least. Mine are long gone, but I don't even complain about it anymore - just do few small modifications. When I go lock to lock my tires are not more than 2cm to the rubber covers (if not less).
