those with C32 exhaust on their cars....

i'm thinking about doing exhaust but dont really want anything too loud. i was thinking bout just trying to find a stock C32 exhaust and have it put on my 320 what do you guys think?? i think a few members on here have done that. i know i most likely wont get any power gains but will the car be louder??? with and without the resonator??? i just wanna know how it sounds

what do you guys think?

Just keep your muffler, weld some tips on there, and delete the resonator.

sheldon bro,

if you want something not too loud, but with an exhaust note. get the sport exhaust from the SS and delete your resonator. that will give you a nice note.

ditto x 2

I have C32 AMG exhaust on both C320 Coupe and C320 Sedan.
Neither have resonators, well because they didn't have resonators (sport versions).
It is not too loud, but definitely a much better low tone. I love 'em both.
My brother who rarely sees / hears my cars, noticed how nice they sound.

So long story, short: JUST DO IT !

Carlos

never heard of a 4Matic Sport,
but just take a look underneath... the resonator is easily visible if you have it or not.

If you do it all at once, it should cost between $100 to $125 total.

resonators don't do anything for smog emissions, so no worries with passing smog check inspections.
Unless your state has some sort of weird noise regulations, and requires a resonator in order to remain below a certain decibel level.
Then that's another issue.

I know that I probably won't hear the end of it, but has anyone heard what a magnflow exhaust sounds like on our cars? Specifically V6 models?
