Well "affordable" may be moot for something in dry carbon, but we'll see. I personally myself would try to get something devved thats dual scoop to fill in the "void" from the tube that goes across - and it'll look clean as hell.

I'm interested too, but what's the cost? There's a difference between $100 and $1000 and $10000, and just like most members, I can't commit without knowing the price!
Mig, how about you figure out how much you want per unit if you were to do a run of, say, 20 units? This would then determine your final customer list. It looks like there's quite a bit of demand for these units. I'm sure you would actually have very little trouble selling your entire run, even if you don't get 100% of the buyers up front. Is that real CF or just just CF on plastic?
Also, what's the dyno-proven gain between this and the stock airbox? If you can prove a HP gain, people will pay up, myself included.
And yes, be sure to put a serial # on each one. I really like this "Limited Edition" idea.

hey guys - no this would be real dry CF, no wet layup stuff or overlays (I just don't feel that kind of stuff belongs in the engine bay - I had a bad experience in the past with cracking and peeling).
I'm not quite sure it would be safe to say who I'd propose the manufacturing idea to, since this is my first time even setting up a GB, but the people I do have in mind makes BADASS parts .

sign up - start saving - if its too much for you then don't buy it... your name on the list doesn't commit you to buy something that's still up in the air with no price.

I would pay some coin for increased power, but obviously if it ends up costing more than a C32 swap..
**EDIT** I'm not the list now.
