Think so?

Yeah they would be black..but I thought it would look pretty sweet. I have like 18% tint...so don't you think it would blend well?

this has to be the biggest uploaded photo in an ebay listing.

+1 on advans. the contrast might be too much on a light color car with black wheels. silver will look the best on your ride. but then again. go for it if you like it, the wheels themselves are nice

Ebay junk. Stick with forged rims whatever you get.

I'm not wild about the wheel style but if you like em, get em. BUT, (all caps again just for you) make sure you black out the grill, tail lights and tint the windows dark. That way, it will be all silver with black accents. Clear side marker lights would help too.

Either way, in the end it is yer car... Why make a decision based on other peoples opinions? Get what you like!!

There's really nothing to debate, so I don't know why that's part of your subject line. Either YOUwant them or YOU don't. If you've ever read through these forums (specifically the w203), you know what certain members opinions are.

Look at all the "veteran" members who have completely ridiculous setups and I guarantee that none of them have replicas and will ALWAYS recommend against.

So, no matter what, when it comes down to it...what do you want? If you want them, go for it. Don't base your decision on what other people say. It's purely up to you.

I don't like replicas, period...ever. That's just me. I think it's more of a waste of money than some people feel about expensive rims. It goes back to the old theory of why people purchase certain cars. For example, back when I got my MX-6, I never understood why people got the I4 model. The v6 was only a couple thousand more (brand new), but for whatever reason they cheaped out. Gas prices weren't extravegant back then, so that wasn't good reasoning either. It was so strange to me. Some people just like saving those few extra dollars. To me, it's kinda pointless to cheap out, especially on a Benz.

I thought long and hard on wheels when I bent 2 last year.
I considered all the ebay garbage, read a ton of posts on a zillion boards,
and ended up with used AMG's all four for $400 !
OK, it wasn't my fav, but I came to realize that forged is the best.
Cast wheels are trash, and machined aluminum ones bend frequently, especially it seems the ones on ebay.

It took a 50 mph blow to barely bend my front rims (C7) and I know AMG is also forged very strong. So I went with what is best for the car, as in safety and quality. And yeh, they were hella inexpensive....but not cheap!

I'd say hold on, and keep looking till you find quality rims.

I read many stories of ebay rims that bent within 6 months...just enough to drive you crazy. Make the car shake. You'd be better off with replica's from tirerack, at least you got some support.

Your deal was ridiculously cheap, but I'd be shocked if it weren't considering who sold it to you!

No convenience package, no bose, no lighting package...which are all on my car, but still makes me realize I should've negotiated even lower. Oh well. Still got under sticker price.

Would you be sad if I told you those AMG wheels you bought are cast, not forged?

most AMG wheels are low pressure cast wheels. they will crack, they will bend.

as for these wheels from "eurowheelusa" the price is really not THAT attractive. for that price, $699+98shipping, which is $797, I'd rather pay an additional $53 and get the MRR GT-1 shipped to your doorsteps!
