C240 with H&R touring cup kit
hey guys, new here
i have a c240 2002, i just installed the H&r touring cup kit with a 1.4 drop in the front and 1.3 in the back. I don't like how the back looks. Its too low. Im thinking of putting the stock springs back on there. I know i have a pad in the rear. Don't know the Number , but its whatever is stock. there is not a pad in the front. is there suppose to be one there?
questions #1: shouldi put the stock springs back in the car to make the car look level? Or try diffrent # pad in the rear like a #5 pad to increase the hight in the back?
Question #2: i like how the front looks, it needed the 1.4 drop. But the kit is a little stiff for my ride. How can i soffent the ride up a little more?

2) soften the ride? H&R cupkits have non-adjustable shocks. get Koni shocks or some coilovers.

I had the cup kit and thought it was a piece of sh*t. It's soft over dips, but harsh on bumpy roads... exactly the opposite of what I wanted. The other terrible thing about it, as he mentioned, was the ride height being uneven front and rear. Needless to say, I quickly got rid of it in favor of TEIN Basic c/o's.

i had cup kit with #1 pad on rear...
drop was nice... except for the front and the ride quality... HARSH...
if u S'edTFF, u would've known about those of us who had cup kit on 203 and go with different setup....

I'd describe the TEIN Basics as "comfortably firm", meaning they're not overly harsh on any surface, but definitely feel firmer than stock and give you good control and response. If you're looking for a setup as comfortable as stock, you'll need to opt for adjustable coilovers like the TEIN Super Streets, Bilstein PSS9, KW V2, etc.

TEIN Super Streets, Bilstein PSS9, KW V2 are all adjutable shocks?
