Need help with choosing C240 (accessories)
hey I just bought a black 2002 c240 sedan. I have put 20% tint on the windows and just got jl speakers/apline headunit/12 inch jl w6 sub. I dont know what else i should do to the exterrior, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? (right now i was thinkin a cl grill and clear headlight lenses, but i do not know where to get them) Thanks alot

everyone has different tastes when it comes to modding
but i have an '02 as well and what i did was i started facelifting it asap
stuff like '05 headlights, facelifted fog lights, side mirror turn signals
once its facelifted, then you can get to work on some big mods
like exhaust, suspension, rims, body work

Excuse my for being a complete noob, but what do u mean by facelifting it? also i have PIIA Xtreme white bulbs in there right now, but i have no idea if i need to get whole new headlights or just the cover.

I would save and get a set of Bixenons. The clear headlights are good, but you will eventually swap them out for bix.

what grill would you recomend i was thinkin a cl but im not sure were i would get the part from online,dealer? . thanks for the advise on the headlights. i agree that ill want to get them later anyways so im likin the bixenons too.

in 2005 the w203 c class was facelifted, meaning revamped with some new parts. when i say facelift your car, i mean swap out the stock parts for the newer ones so your car looks newer.
yeah my car came with the same headlights you have and i have the 05 clear lens headlights now and am working on getting bi-xenons.
for the CL-grille i'd recommend ebay and for the facelifted grille call up your local benz dealer, it'd probably be around $150 or so
i personally would not recommend the CL-grille for your car. very few cars can pull it off nicely and its usually the ones with the amg body kits that can. get a facelifted sports grille....
to clarify...our cars have two different types of stock grilles...luxury and sport. the luxury grilles have silver painted slats and the sport grilles have black slats.

no budget really, i would like to go small to big, but their is no limit right now. ill proboly wait a month or two b4 i drop it down. i just ordered the clearside markers and im gettin the bix lights in the next week or so, so now im tryin to decide what next...

yea i agree with the rims. i was thinkin chrome 17" 18" any sugestions. idk i like urs. did u have to get new tires? how much did u pay for em? also does a lowering kit make it look alot better and does it bring in a risk factor of scraping the bottom of ur car?

I just happen to hae a set of the standard halogen clear headlght assemblies from my 2005 C230 Sedan that I could sell you. It is NOT bi-xenon, but it has the clear lens versus the frosted ones like the ones from your year. IMO they look better than the frosted ones.

when i get the clear 05 light version do i have to buy a whole new light or just a lense? either way i would be glad to buy urs:P i have no idea how much they would cost so u tell me i might buy those and wait bix maybe get it lowered sooner

you can look at my thread if you want some ideas. i had the same car you did, and i updated everything except the side turn signals, taillights, mufflers, and sideskirts.

k so ill look around for rims, i got the clear side markers on way and bix or 05 headlights on the way soon. so im thinkin drop ASAP first of all does this make a huge look improvment im goin for that classy look. best coilovers to get? price? and should i worry bout scraping the ground? thanks alot for the help so far everyone
