Agree with Blake OR custom grille like Mattig OR custom grille without the horizontal slat OR painted body color grille/black..Looks better IMO

Without star
Without star looks so much better, cl grills on crs which weren't designed for them always look stupid and ruin the looks of the front, so that's my 2 cents.

Sorry it just doesn't look right, I think the standard grill looks better, like my wifes.

The car looks like it's on stilts in the photo, it was only 30 minutes old, now the suspension has settled it looks a lot better.

Exact and perfect fitment and it took me and my Wife a total of 11 minutes to install it at night in the cold. Excellent product and the cheapest on Ebay. Against the Orion Blue it looks so slammin' Gave it a very exotic look and much smoother and cleaner, we also added the flat hood emblem too.

can you post some pictures as well?

Ill post pics when the weather breaks. I also debadged and then re badged (you will see ) I will try to get some shots after the snow tomorrow. Its been rediculous since my Wife got this car it has rained at least every other day!

I got the grill and the flat hood emblem.

I hate the stock "old man" grill. So plain and boring IMHO.

Wanna trade cars?

I think the stock looks better than the 3 slat. I'll probably go back to stock after I get bored with the CL in a bit.

I know, huh. My car looks pretty stupid, doesn't it?

Honestly, I think it just depends on the presentation, but not necessarily the grille itself.

The grill looks stupid, the car from any angle which you couldn't see the grill doesn't.

I love the new 3 strip Cl grill

OEM grill for c class is good looking but, its always fun to have both. Can change them around to give it a different look. Don't you guys think?

Grill

Having seen my wagon quite a bit with the new grill I like it. I find it amusing that so many find the 3-slat star grill so non-Mercedes when Mercedes use it themselves as the OEM grill for the new C-Class Sport models.

but the new C class was designed with the CL style grill in mind, it looks like it should be there, the aftermarket jobs for the w203 don't.

I did think the CL front looked better than the standard look on a w204 until I saw one with the AMG kit, the trad grill maks the car look mean and aggressive from the front, more so than the CL style front.

Grill

…but the new C-class actually uses both grills simultaneously in the two different looks - so why not the 203 too? In person it looks good. Maybe not pure Mercedes 203 but good looking nonetheless and much less matronly looking than the OEM grill on the 203 in my view.

Eventually it boils down to preference. I contemplated upgrading for a while since I liked the standard grill. But after several months of owning my car and seeing that every single w203 I see has the same grill, I grew tired of it quick. Now my car will have a different look and not everyone will have it.

In my opinion the standard grill gives it a luxurious look while the other gives it a sportier appearance.

And it came with only 1 mount bracket instead of 6. Did you have any shipping issues with yours?

Nice sig. By the way which seller did you get your's from? There are 2 sellers on ebay. I got mine from Symauto and purchased the emblem package. Mine arrived with a hair line crack on the top center. To exchange it I have to pay for shipping both ways. No issues with yours?
