Come on Carlos, don't you know that with the NA v6 that the '07 has, it makes it look that much better and adding the CL grille adds horsepower!

In all seriousness, there's no difference in the '07 Sport Sedan (styling), aside from the standard trunk spoiler and dual exit muffler. Other than that, 2005-2007 Sport Sedans all have the AMG body styling.

So, europa.xii, I'd check your information before you post, cuz there's nothing different with the front of the '07 Sport Sedans at all.

Thanks... been there read that... as I said before I did search. and I may have missed a thread specific to grille pictures (I'm not perfect..see post above about my horrible spelling.) but in my experience if you add on to a thread that is already many pages long, you wont get the same help due to the fact that most people don't re-read threads that are several pages long already.

Again if you don't want to help... thats fine don't. But you don't have to post stuff in here that is not helpfull to the thread topic.

Thanks to all the others that have posted pics, or even pointed towards there Sigs. I apperciate the help!!!

Ironic, maybe you should check your information? Why not take the time to read my whole reply CAREFULLY which says NOTHING about the front of the 07'' models being different from previous models ANYWHERE. Not to mention it was a matter of OPINION on the body styling (may have been vague). Pay attention so you don't embarrass yourself.

Not so on this forum - we all want to help & sit up until the early hours of the morning to help one another. If you post to an existing thread it comes up number one on the listing after your post. Everyone will help if they think you are being reasonable and it keeps our forum neat & searchable. Mods like Drex put in a lot of hard work & we need to help them. Don't be lazy or selfish.

Stop fighting & welcome to the forum. We will gladly help you. See my Avatar - standard pre facelift grille

for what? correcting your ERROR? where does that quote mention the front of the 07 model being any different from the previous ones? its only dealing with the updated body styling as you can see if you take the time to read it in later replies..

Dude, why are you getting all bent out of shape.

Okay, but I'm still trying to figure out why an '07 could pull it off any better than a '06 or '05? Can you explain that?

Okay, so you just confirmed that you are COMPLETELY MIS-INFORMED right there!

Body style update happened in 2005, Buddy. The body styling on the 2005 is THE SAME as the 2007.

Now, are you gonna keep trying to call me out or are you going to CHECK YOUR FACTS and realize that the 2005 models of Sport Sedans were the 1ST to get the AMG BODY STYLING.

Like I said, CHECK YOUR FACTS BEFORE YOU POST!

-ADD-
The only thing that was "UPDATED" in 2007 was the fact that they gave a dual exit muffler tip and the trunk spoiler came standard. EVERYTHING ELSE IS THE SAME.

call you out? hold on man, lets act a little more mature then that for a second here.
- no mention to amg body styling

I WAS REFERRING TO: Trunk Spoiler / Twin Exhaust Tips (HENCE THE LITTLE CHANGES making a BIG difference - complete change in amg body styling wouldn't be a small one now would it?)
- as PREVIOUSLY cleared up by saprissa
- SORRY IF IT WAS TOO VAGUE FOR YOU TO REALIZE.
- looks like we had different views on what the body style was inferring? you thinking amg. me thinking trunk spoiler + exhaust tips? maybe that clarifies it. either end up adding a unique change to the style/appeal of the car in the end!

What we're trying to say is that the body styles of the sport sedans from 05-07 are exactly the same. The ONLY difference is the spoiler, twin tips, and 7 spoke wheels.

Here's an '06 which looks just like an '05 for every angle. The only exception is that it does not have the kompressor badge.

Here's an '07, again with the only difference being the wheels, twin tip muffler, and spoiler. The body style that you keep referring to is the same.

Okay, but you do realize that 1) The trunk spoiler was available as an accesory back in 2005, 2) the dual exhaust tips is just a duplicate of the c32 exhaust tips.

In other words, there is absolutely Nothing on the '07 that is "new" that would make it pull off a CL grille any better than any prior model.

Unbelievable that Newbs have absolutely no clue how much research and discussion has gone on about the w203's over the years...No wonder I just try and moderate without having to post anymore...it's like the department of redundancy department...LOL

i was referring to the exhaust tips/spoiler!

are you taking into consideration that i might have been talking about STOCK and not accessory? of how they UPDATED it and made it standard and no longer an accessory? of course you aren't. no need to be an *** over the whole thing, but you love to go out of your way to do so.

I'd say that the bolded words would constitute your calling me out.

No errors given by me. Your supposed "body style" changes aren't even changes at all. The rims is one thing that was brought up that was never avaiable before. Those are it.

Again, calling me out on my knowledge of this chassis and the changes it has gone through over the years. Again, ONLY thing different (that has never been available before) are the wheels.

OMG...What is "stock" to you...that it comes with the car? Dude, MB decided to throw the trunk spoiler on there as you would term "stock" because SO MANY PEOPLE WERE BUYING IT FROM 2005-2007.

R U a DOC? if so, go to one of your mates & get a Hemorrhoid grommet. Pop a suitable washer over the shaft followed by a grommet & it will never fall off. Don't send it back for a clip. They will post you a clip if it's lost. Value under 2c

Hi John, sorry the devil in me!!! A tail doctor friend of mine, many years back, used to attach the badges to his Alfa in this fashion because the standard clips would rust in the Cape Town climate. He saw this as an elegant solution - friends did not agree & the comments were merciless.

so the stock 07 sport sedan suits the CL-grille better than the C32 or C55? doesn't make much sense to me.

in reality MBUSA is the only country selling the Avantgarde with AMG kit as a standard feature. The argument of "the CL-grille looks better on the 07" is a argument.

to the rest of the world the avantgarde looks like this
