I think they should make a custom 3 slat grill without the star like the W204 Brabus grill.

people did. my friend Will had one before someone hit him on the freeway and spun him out into the wall. Cappa26/Robert also has one customed. you can take the Expression one to custom or take the 05+ grille to custom. from experience Robert's custom grille from 05+ is more fragile. my friend's Expression one was pretty strong, but very heavy because the material needed to make it strong when the star is removed from the grille.

Hopefully someone can help me out... I didn't see anything in the search that gave me a clear answer....So Ima try here in the "grille thread"

Where can I pick up a carbon fiber grille? I know at least one member on here has one. So I know it exists. I just don't know if its custom or not. Any info would hlep a lot.

Thanks!!

looks good.

might want to post this in this thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=234347 or ask one of the mods to move it for you, assuming that's not already in the works.

The ebay CL-Style grille is cheaply made. I bought one last year and 3 months later, ended up with a hole in it. A piece of ice was kicked up and knocked a hole underneath the star. There is a higher quality CL grille on ebay, but I think I'll stick with the stock grille for now.

i think there will be great interest on a grille with 3 fins just like the ones you have, but without the big-o star, you know brabus style... I will be in line for that one.

EV0LVE, you are definitely right on that. We have had many emails about the 3-Fin Brabus Style Grilles. Unfortunately, no news on them yet. If anything, we'll be sure to update the site.

I'm interested in your Silver CL Grill. Can you tell me if it's the exact same grill that 4mymercedes.com sells? I've seen another member with this grill and I like it, but if yours is the same, I'll get it from you.

Theirs also comes with a Replacement hood release handle.

This is the one listed on your Website that I'm interested in:

To be honest, the picture on their Website portrays the grill looking much nicer that yours, but it may just be because your photo is so bad.

Thanks for checking!

Gramma_Benz, yes, it is the same exact grille. You are right though, some of our photos are not that clear. We definitely need to take some new pictures.

Thanks!

Yeah, the water mark on those pics are a little strong. It makes it kinda hard to see the image.

I see you only have Black/White/Silver colors.
Do you possibly have a primer/chrome one. I'm looking to color match and my car color is Pewter.

BTW, who the hell thought of the name "Pewter"?? It's such an ugly name, IMO!

Hey billbugger,

Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately we don't have any unpainted grilles. We do have chrome, but that would be way more difficult to paint than a non-chrome one. Your best bet would be to get a black or silver one and have it painted pewter.

Can the chrome parts be removed from the black/silver grilles or are the glued on?
The reason i ask is if i can remove them, i can sand/primer/paint the silver one them place the chrome parts back on.

The chrome trim is removable. They seem to "pop" in place and are not glued. That should make painting fairly easy.
