MJ: your car looks better than ever! You won't miss seeing the star after a couple weeks. We all go through the withdrawl after adding the flat badge, but it wears off when you realize how sporty your car looks now.

Noble: thanks for the compliments! You should get the grille too (if you haven't already).

mj50,
I have got to admit your car looks even better than before

I do have a secret wish, to have the stand up hood star on my coupe. But I have gone through three sets of grills now and like the 2005 grill with flat hood badge best

MJ50 and BlakeP,
Your cars look awesome with the grille. I'm totally convinced on getting one for my car so I ordered mine yesterday and should have it by the end of the week.
Jerry (formymercedes.com) was very helpful and is such a nice guy to talk to over the phone.

For those of you that have already purchased the foryourmercedes.com grill, they look really great. IMO, best bang for the buck and actually I like the design much better compared to the others; expression grill.

Thanks again for posting pics for us that haven't made our purchase yet. My question, is the brilliant silver available yet and has anyone here purchased one. I'd be curious to see how that looks on a silver car, that's the only reason I'm holding back. I like the contrast with the black grill but how would the silver grill look, more custom maybe?

Anyone with the silver grill please post pics. I'll probably end up getting one anyway since it's hard to wait right now since they look so good plus so easy to install.

Thanks...

that's the recommandation that having the flat hood emblem will look better with this grille. trust me, you don't want to have the raised star along w/ the big star on the grille.

Problem with expression grille

I bought the expression grill from evosport. After getting it painting, I tried installing the setup and found that the lower painted piece does not fit. The instructions are rather poor and it seems like I have to drill the grille assembly in order to fasten the two L shaped hinge supports to the grille. Does anyone else have issues with their setup? I was under the impression that this was a high quality item but everything I've experience thus far seems the opposite. Maybe I'm really screwing it up but I almost positive there is something wrong with the lower piece.

For as much as that thing costs, it should install itself! I'm sure there's gotta be some members here who have it and can explain how they installed it

Didn't have any problems installing the bottom piece. There are two holes where you put screws in. Maybe the paint shop covered the holes up with the paint? Post pics.

Hope these pictures help those with Brilliant Silver cars. I highly recommend Jerry (formymercedes.com).
