I bought my coupe for the wife about 2 weeks ago, when she gets back home in another week, she won't be getting the coupe. She can drive the lemon.

I have had my C32 AMG for almost a month now. I am breaking her in slowly. It is by far the best car I have ever owned and has far exceeded my expectations. I was going to get the coupe but decided to go all the way with the C32. The extra doors were an added bonus with this type of performance, especially when one has a family. I think MB did a great job with the C class.

I am really enjoying this car
This is my first MB, being a very loyal Volvo customer. Had Volvos in my family since 1971, a total of about 12 with everyone in the family. I have owned 3 myself including the S80 with the twin turbos (which I still own). This Benz is a whole different animal. I may never buy another car other than a MB again. Granted, the C32 is a little different type of Benz, but it still puts the most unbelievable smile on my face that Ive ever felt every time I drive it. Im ordering a new E55 next week and when it gets here, in 2003, I will give the C to my wife.

Second MB for me.
Had a w123 230 ´79 with 300000 km, which my father bought new. Had to take it to the junk-yard last summer, not because it was trashed, but because we didn't have any place to park it. I cried when they towed it away .

Replacement car is a C200K and sofar, it's more than I expected. I have had a faulty fuel-sensor, which was replaced under warranty. Soon it's time for first service and I will ask them to fix my ticking purge-valve. Told them to do that, when they fixed the fuel-sensor, but they told me there was nothing to do about it ("they all do that"). Now I know better thanks to all of you guys! Will print out the service-bulletin and stick it under the service-guy's nose :p

Guess I'll never will buy anything but MBs

My wife and I like our C240/6 a lot. Its smooth, quiet, stylish and fun to drive. It has good power (with the 6 speed) and is plenty zippy for a grocery getter.

It had a few electrical glitches that many of the early cars had (we've had it for over a year), but those were all easily fixed by the dealer.

It meets or exceeds our expectations.

A lot of the plastic trim pieces (the stuff in the door sills, the inside door pulls, the top of the center console) are a little cheap looking/feeling. I wouldn't mind those things being improved, but it is a $31,000 car, not a $75,000 car. For the price, I think it is a good value and a very nice car.

This is my second MB. My first was a used one (10 years old when I bought it) 1976 230.4. I had this car while I was stationed in Germany in the Army. I loved this car! Up until the current car, the C320, it was the best car by far I ever owned!

I've only had the new car for just over a week, and so far I am more than satisfied! The only dissappointment really is that the standard did not include a CD player, and that you have to purchase that as an option.

Looking forward to a loooong relationship with this car!

Love the new C! I don't personally get to drive it on weekdays, since i have my I30, and the C230 is my dad's but on weekends it's mine and i've had a blast with it. It handles a lot like my old 325i and i've been impressed with power of this 4 cylinder ever since. Only complaint is the stereo system, since the I30 and the S430 both are standard with BOSE speakers, the C230 seemed a bit lacking. Hoping to remedy that soon with some MB Quartz.

One of the things I like best is how stable the car feels cruising along at 80 mph, the low wind rush, and the feeling that there's alot more available- just wish there was a place to find out!
