'05 C230 Kompressor - Sport
Squeek in the back of my c230!

Evening all,
I noticed a squeeking soud starting to come from the rear of my car, passenger side.
Everytime i go over a bump even the smallest ones.. i hear that swueeking sound like a rusty spring or something!

Any ideas?!

Blown shock? Check your shock mount as well..

how hard is it to replace the sway bar bushings? My car is starting to squeek too.

You don't have to replace the bushing, simply lubricating the bushing with penetrating oil should do the trick. Mine has started squeaking hard as well recently, just gotta find the time to lube them up. Oh if it were a blown shock . . . you would know.

A blown shock would knock up the body wouldn't it? I'll try lubing the bushing, ifit wont work i'll post a vdeo wit the sound or something

Dmn shock cost half a hand and one foot here in iceland! Cheaper to get used coilovers from the us then one shock back here!

Get under the car with a can of silicon lubricant and spray everything that looks rubber, it'll solve your problem.
