C-Class (S203/W203) 4MATIC thread - All you want to know
For those of you on a budget 4Matic w/ all season is not too bad either, of course is not as good.
One thing is AWD only helps you GO, and Corner. AWD does NOT help your car stop. Only your tire will help your car stop when it comes to snow.

My only experience with 4Matic would be our ML vs my Quattro. I feel that the 4Matic system allows a little too much slippage before engaging whereas my Quattro is instant. Perhaps its the mechanical (Quattro) system vs the electronic system (4Matic) Nonetheless, both systems are excellent for snowy weather

KBB has the car in excellent condition for $17,300 but edmunds.com is telling me $17,891... initially they only offered me $15,981 but i had to fight to get at least $17,300... should i be walking to another dealership or should i be lucky enough i am able to get excellent price on a trade in since KBB says only 5% of cars fall within this category...
thanks everyone...

Dnasty8305 and I sent Vogtland an OEM spring. They are currently doing R&D and will have lowering springs for us by the end of February.
LINK: Thread started last month regarding 4-matic springs
The search words I used, "4-Matic springs"
Advanced search only in the w203 forum.

I'm considering getting a 2006 C350 4matic. I can't seem to find much information regarding this vehicle other than the fact that it has a 5 speed automatic. Any input would be much appreciated etc. reliablity, problems, regrets...
thanks,
Dan
I DID try google but it mostly came up with information about the C350...not the 4matic. Most sites only mention that the 4matic comes with a 5 speed automatic. No need to be sarcastic. I also thought that it would be informative to get first hand information from owners themselves.
C classes are pretty solid. it all depends on your luck. some Cs are built better than the other but that's the same as every other car.
You wont be disappointed with the C350's power. But if you were into looks as well, you might want to consider the C350 Sport instead of the 4matic.
Anyways, just want to make sure I'm not missing some trick and of course she's done the Owner's-Manual-relocate-because-it's-bad-feng-shui-mod.
Any guidance appreciated. Thanks!
