New member needing air filter & power upgrade advice :-)
I have recently brought a 52 plate Merc CDI220 SE coupe with AMG styling.
My questions are:
I would like to know if an after market air filter like K&N is available and where i can get it from or any recommendations??
and secondly i am considering having an ECU remap done, any advice on how/where or things to look out for when getting this done would be much appreciated.
Last but not least, the oil, what is the best type/grade etc to use??
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the info. Had a look but i cannot find one, unless i'm not looking for the correct info etc etc (new to this Merc business, was so much easier with my VW lol)

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Most of the folks here are from North America and won't understand the UK's licence plate system. Since I left the UK for Canada I can't decipher the 'new' licence plate system either

Cars are referred to by model year, '03, '04 etc. To be confusing the model years typically start in August/September.
Cheers
TJ

Its a 2002 model (on a 52 reg because it was registered in November).
I believe that vehicles registered in the first half of the year receive the 01, 02, 03 etc reg number.
My bad guys
Thanks for clearing that up tj40
