Those offsets seem nice and aggressive for a coilover setup and you should be ok. ET 32 in back is a few mm lower than ideal (35 would be perfect, IMO) but if you don't tuck the tires in the fender you should be fine. ET 28 up front would be my ideal offset, but again I think unless you really slam it you should be ok.

This is a pretty aggressive offset. I'm assuming you're not planning on doing any big brake upgrades because you would most likely need a spacer for the rear if you do a big brake upgrade. The front should be fine.

You're thinking about it backwards Drex. Lower offset means the wheels will be pushed further out toward the fender so BBK clearance is less of a problem than with a higher offset. Other important factors are lip size and spoke thickness.

Nah, B. I know what I was saying. It was with reference to a 9.5 inch wheel and assuming that there was going to be a larger lip (considering they are LM's and there's that 2 step deal on those rims).

I've never thought LM's had a large enough lip to interfere with rear BBK clearance, but I suppose that could be the case. Either way, @ you!

Yeah, if you look at the LM's because of the way the lip is designed it's kinda deceiving. It's got that 2 tier lip. first the outside barrell, then there's a 2nd lip that goes up to where the centers are attached. It's what sets the LM's apart and definitely my favorite part of the LM's.

since the 19x8.5 fronts i can get in +35 offset, i can easily run a 5mm spacer (and with 225 tire it should fit nice and flush?)

on the rear 19x9.5 i can get 40mm offset, and run a 5mm spacer to bring to +35 offset, with 255 tires.

I hope this sizing will work well on the c230.. my last debate is what springs to run on this car to make it look decent with a nice drop to cover up the gap.

Many tks for your advice again!

Your spacer plans sound perfect. As for the drop... there's a suspension thread for that.

tks for the info! at least i have wheel/tire combo out of the way, as for suspension there is so much info in the suspension thread that is very vague, not really something where i can conclude what would be the best choice of springs, pretty much each owner has a different experience with different brand.. i always like Neuspeed as they are little on the stiffer side, vs say Eibach that was always too soft and saggy.. then you have H&R and others of course.. thats where my dilemma is now

Thanks for the tip.

This LM setup is the only one that BBS has for mercedes.

SO the wheels with this set up wont stuk out to much away from the fenders right, and shoud be fine with amg bbk, or do i need a spacer for clearing the brake caliper.

Well, MB and Audi would use different rings regardless... so unless your set comes with multiple size rings...?

Guess that would be the only surefire way to determine fitment.

+2 on the BBS RS GT. I think the double lip on the LM's make them look smaller than they really are.
