I'm just being difficult but you don't want to fit crap. You want quality at a fair price.

Question 20" Wheels in the works / offset ????

I did a search and only found this thread : https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...t-know-12.html
that had info, but it still didn't help me...

Just want to get that out of the way so I don't get attacked...

I am looking at a set of 360 forged in 20"

20x8.5 with 32mm offset 20x10 with 42mm offset

tires 235/30/20 and 255/30/20

I know slam and viprsx have 20's and also worked on them so maybe they could help...

Also trying not to lower it but might have too...

Anybody fore-see any problems???

The only cars that have been slammed with 20's were sedans and you have a coupe so fitment will be a lot different. Also your going to have to do a lot of cutting and in my opinion I dont think it will look good on a coupe to be slammed if somehow you do pull it off. Just go with 19s and lower the car. A lot easier and cheaper. Just my 2 cents.

i think the rear inner fender lip might cut into the tires with 20's. I have 19's and there's no gap in the rear. It barely has enough space for the rear lip area.

I'm stock height too.

Are you planning on lowering the car bro?

I believe I was one of the first to have coilovers and 20's installed (most people cut their springs or heat them). For the front's only a 20x8" would work with the coils, and the rear only 20x9.5" would fit. I also stretched my tires to make sure I wouldn't rub.

The tire sizes I have are 225/30/20 in the fronts and 245/30/20 in the rears. I waited almost 6 months to get my wheels from DPE because they had a lot of trouble getting the wheels to fit. I also tried asking DPE for the offsets but they wouldn't release them.

Anyways bro, good luck and definitely post pics when you get them installed!

I'm just afraid that if you don't lower it, your car will end up looking like a 4x4.

You had to do some cutting in order to prevent rubbing with the 20s when you lowered it correct. Hows is the comfort level since you have 20s lowered?

Nope, no cutting what-so-ever. I believe the '05 and up had the inner fender lining already rolled from the factory. All I did was put the wheel's on, crank the coilovers low, and was on my way. As far as ride comfort, my tires are pretty smooth (Nitto Neogens), and I've been used to the rough ride from my previous car (BMW X5 with 22" wheels). Also, the Tein Basic coilovers are pretty damn comfortable, just a little more aggressive during hard cornering than stock.

it's all about running the right tire and the right offset.
