didn't know yours were 17s!

I have bad habits. I might just blow the extra cash on a road bike lol! I'll probably take a jab at this again if my HRE's sell.

Phil when are you going to get your CCWS!! I want to see how they fit so i can jack your specs or go a little less aggressive

I would feel like a little girl right now if I were you waiting for those sexy wheels.

hopefully this week they'll be done and shipped. he had to wait for a shipment of hardware to finish them. mine are really aggressive, John the owner called me back making sure that's what i wanted lol i know I'll have to do some neg camber and stretch the tires. went with 225/40/18 & 235/40/18 good stretch but still got some sidewall. gonna put my stud conversion on, lower it more, and finally use my nice new lug nuts. after that back to performance end. still need to do my diff swap and setup the intake. i've been wayyy behind on those two projects then getting a few new goodies for cars interior.

Hey guys,

Just bought a 2003 CL203 Coupe and thinking of buying 19 inch wheels/rims.

Thinking about something like this...

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/19-inch-A...item4cfbf3c9cc

It says 'Late Merc models only' but I asked them and they said it would fit on my car as well or thought I'm having hard time believing that.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Will 19'' fit and look good with it?

Here we go again. For some random reason a barrage of inquires for my HRE's hit my mail box last night. There were trades and cash.

Here's some trades or ideas.

A guy is willing to trade his CCW LM-5's 18x8.5+35 and 18x9+25 (Wheels will be polished upon trade). It's in 5x114.3 but I would redrill them to 5x112.

Or WORK Euroline 18x8+25, 18x9+35, 4/5x114.3 (Again probably redrill) It's about $40 per

Or do I should I go BBS RS 17x8 et 35 all around

Orrr I just take the money and run away

I agree with Frank, not worth messing with redrilling, just get something that fits right.

I didn't seem to have anything wrong with my Work VS-XX. I drove on it quite a lot and it never had a problem. I wouldn't think it is not safe since a lot of shop offer it.

You can usually save about $1000.. redrilling 5x114.3 because wheels are cheaper. For mercedes you can tack on the extra $$$$ just for it being in 5x112 haha.

About to get tires put on my BBS LM reps. They are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5, would 225/35/19 and 245/35/19 be to much of a stretch or would that be fine? Thanks

I have 225 in the front but only to avoid rubbing. I would personally recommend 235 up front and 265 in the rear, 225 and 245 is fine too but the wheels will be poking and bit and give you that stretched look, unless thats what you're after

I mean I like the stretched look, but I don't want it to be to stretched to the point that it looks weird and all. So I am not sure what I going to do, because I want to go lower soon and don't want to have to deal with rubbing and all

Yeah I really dont know, with 225 and 245 its not too stretched but I myself prefer the classic straight sidewall and dont really like the stretch look so I kind of dislike my current setup. Its really up to you though, like I said, 225 and 245 isnt crazy stretched by no means

Do you think I will have any issues once I go low? or will these tire sizes be fine? I am planing on putting on some Blistein PSS9 Coilovers and go pretty low once I get the wheels on the car.
Thanks for the tire size tip btw

No just be sure to grind the fender tab and roll the fenders and get a rear camber kit or you'll be going through tires like crazy. Im going to max out my coilovers once I put the wheels on.
