Nick knows 4Matics backwards. Also ask FrankW - He is the wheel king of the forum - Nick ran Sport Edition ST4s from Tirerack for a long time - they are reasonably priced. He has recently changed.

You will always have a gap even with the stock sport springs (unless you go with coil overs or change springs)
Here is my car I have 19" rims and I still have a gap. I would go with coil overs but too expensive right now. Close to 2K for real good ones.
Take it nice and slow so you can enjoy your car. First do the wheels and chill for a little while then when your wheels become normal change something else on the car and enjoy that too then wait some more then change another thing. If you do it all at once you will get tired of the car

Here is the gap with stock 17" rims with the stock sport springs.
Yours might be a little more if anything don't worry about it. Once you put those rims people will be busy noticing you wheels and not if there is a gap

She didnt like the star on hood - so i changed it to flat star and new grille with star. Now She says she wants new wheels, so I'm looking at these below - thinking 18x8.5 all around the offset is 35. Will these fit? I'm going to keep her current to put back on for winter.
$549 good price? Thanks in advance.

JK - lol thanks for the welcome.. yeah i love the truck.. trying to give the C some attention now.. love that one too - wife probably wont let me do performance mods though.. mostly cosmetic.. and ipod. Where is the ipod retrofit thread? I've searched for w203 but seems buried..

I can't take it anymore; my wife has ruined more wheels and tires on Boston's potholed roads than I can count, so I'm looking for some 16" MB wheels to replace the 17" "Sport" wheels she currently has.

This set claims to fit S class 92 or newer, and lists Width as 7.5J and Bolt Pattern as 5x112 (no offset given). Does that tell us enough to determine whether they'll fit my 2003 C-class sedan without any issues?
