Nope, no new shocks yet, I will go with the stock shocks first, if they break or if the ride doesn't feel like I want it, I will get new shocks, and yeah, Koni yellows are the best I think...but as I said, stock shocks first - many guys over here use stock shocks with the 1,6"-lowering-H&R-springs, and they nearly all use stock shocks - and their rides feel great...

MAE (O.Z. Racing) Crown Jewels with Kodiak lips and painted centers with Mercedes center caps.

Front
18x8.5 Et 32-15mm spacer = et17
Tire size 215/35/18
Toyo Proxy T1R's
I had to have the hub centric part milled out on the front, but the cars hub still extends, holding the wheel.

About 39mm shank on the lug bolt.

Rear
18x10.5 et52-12mm spacer = et 40
Tire size 235/40/18

About 34mm shank on the lug bolt.

Running tein coils, the fronts are all the way down now, the rears I have about a half inch left. The rear is rubbing right now on the fender, need to go in a few more millamenters and roll the fenders a tad. I havent measured but I belive I still have about half inch left on the inside of the car so I can move the rear wheels in a bit. Also going to raise it up a bit.

that looks pretty good, but is it just me, or do those tire sizes seem awfully narrow?

Trust me... your shocks will blow so you might as well do it right the first time instead of paying labor twice. I made the same mistake trying to be cheap and am just trying to help.

They're like $1500 with tires and that is great value. Now if you or someone else is willing to sell me their SSR GT3s for the same price then I'd buy that instead of the reps.

before asking for info you should post more info on the wheels first.

from the information you've given (19") I can't tell you **** and not going to bother searching for specs on that wheel for you.

some info you should list before asking would be 1. diameter and width 2. offset 3. size of the lip 4. bolt pattern.

tires rubbing

Hey, got a question:
my front wheel is 19x8 +32 with a 5mm spacer, makes it a +27,
tire 235/35-Falken 452. At slower speeds, when i turn, the tire rubs the front of the wheel well (black plastic inner lining)

since its only an 19x8 should i have gotten 225/35 to make the sidewall a little more rounded. Right now its pretty straight. If i do get the 225/35 will this get rid of the rubbing? if i lower a little with coilovers, will it still rub or get better/worse?

im sitting on the stock 2005 sport suspension. what do you guys think??

Thanks..

rubbing on the front plastic cover is pretty much normal when you go 19". I wouldn't worry about it.

Sorry bout that, first time to mod and replace a wheel. Anyways, Im trying to figure out the best way to go.
Performance is not really a big deal for me, I just go for aesthetics, hoping for no rubbing issues and roads here in Phoenix is really not that bad.

18x8.5 (bolt 5x114.5) and 18x9.5 (bolt 5x20). offset is 40mm

19x8.5 and 19x9.5 (not sure bout bolt pattern but I can always buy bolts from another 3rd party seller right?) offset is 45mm all around.

-Offset can be changed as special request
-No tires yet coz I still dont know if these wheels will fit
-Should I get the 18s or the 19s?

Thanks again and I will give a review/feedback/update as contribution so it can be used as a future reference.

Thanks for your help man!! I will do the installation of the springs with a friend, so if the shocks blow out early or the ride feels bad, I will get the Koni yellows right away and install them - doesn't cost me anything extra... ...we allready installed some H&R springs and later on the H&R coilovers on my friend's R171, so that's no big problem for us/him...

Can't really wait to get those wheels...

NP...now that you have more info on the wheel that i can tell you those won't fit.

MB bolt pattern is 5x112. for 8.5 and 9.5 width to fit on the W203 you need ET27-30 for the front and ET35 for the rear.

The fitment guide at http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/inf.../mercedes-benz

shows multiple possible offsets for my car. Which ones are the stock 2005 SS specs for the standard 17x7.5 / 17x8.5?

F/R
36/30
36/34
37/30
35/30
37/34

?

Wow, I thought your last set of wheels was perfect, but these take the cake! I think I want some HRE Comps, so we're going to have to talk. The step lips are gorgeous.
