Hello =]

How would I make these wheels fit:

OEM C300/C350 AMG Twin-5 Spoke Wheels

What spacers / hub stuff will I need?
(I had this stuff explained to me, but I'd rather get a professional on our boards give me a confirmation before I go looking )

I'm fairly sure the ones I've seen being sold are:

50 ET FR
54 ET RR

18x8 FR
18x8.5 RR

And the tires are generally stock... so... maybe

Continental ContiSportContact 3

225/40/zr18 FR
255/35/zr18 RR

Would these tires fit on a stock suspension 2006 C280?

Also, what if I plan on getting Bilstein pss9's sometime later?
Any forseeable future problems?
Thanks a ton guys

Further reading has led me to ask another question:

This is a race Glyn M Ruck vs Frank vs Other Professionals

Will I require different sized lug bolts?
Will what I'm proposing rub?

check out sunnyray's post above. the W204 has the M14 bolts which reflects on the wheels. you will need M14 bolts with the 1.5 thread and with the 20mm spacer you need them with long shank as well.

depends on how much are you getting them for I would suggest look around more for BETTER wheels. because with the tires you will need if they don't come with tires and with the extra you need to spent on spacers you will most likely spent around the same as getting good set of wheels.

one thing I don't get is those that are running on cheap wheels i.e. those monarch replicas and then proceed to put Michelin PS2 on them. I rather spent $400-500 less on tires and run Toyo or Vredersteins then running cheaper wheels now.

OEM AMG wheels aren't that good?
Man. And here I thought they looked pretty sweet.

But it will all depends on what pops up really.
I've had my eyes on volks too, but it's all about who's selling, how good the deal is, etc etc
I just want to know what wheels are known for being:
durable, not likely to bend, break, crack, etc (obviously at the least 18"'s and above)

lets weight-in.

$2200 18" AMG cast wheel with good tires
$2300 18" BBS forged wheel with used tires
$2200 18" Volks forged wheels
$2200 19" WALD cast wheels with good tires.

the AMGs would be on the very bottom of my list unless you're someone that wants to keep everything looking oem.

C32 wheel fitment

Question... I have a 2002 c32 and found a nice deal on BBS wheels. Front 8x18'' 35mm, Rear 9.5x18'' 32mm, will they fit? The car is lowered about 2" Thanks.

Hey guys,

I just wanted to input on a brand. Have you guys heard of Enkei? I was told they are light weight rims and they are cheap in price too. I saw a real nice one, EKM3 and it looked real nice. Has anyone had experience with this brand? I am a big fan of multi spoke wheels and soon want to get new rims (after body mods are done).

What do you guys think?

Enkei have good wheels and they have bad wheels. those are pretty decent probably the only one from their Performance line that looks good. however their Racing/Tuning series have great looking and good wheels.

I like the RPF1 and the NT03+M

those should fit perfectly.

if the front doesn't clear the caliper just contact BBS and ask to order a set of 5mm PFS spacers. It will come with the spacer and bolts.

Concidering the car is lowered? With my OEM wheels the rear tires are very slightly tucked and current tire size is 255/40/17

Ya, you're right the RPF1 and NT03+M do look nice. It's weird tirerack has a better selection than their website.

This one is pretty nice too. (RS05) Does Enkei and SSR have any relation?
They seem soo similar. Soo many nice rims.

Edit

Posted the wrong one.

In my opinion they are very good wheels. I see them more on japanese vehicles but I'm sure they would look good on a benz as well. I had a set on my accord for the past 2 years and they held up perfectly. I'm in the northeast and had low profile tires on them so I hit my share of pot holes and they help up real well. I just sold the car with the rims on them last week and they looked as good ad the day i bought them. I believe I purchased mine from tire rack with falken tires for about $650 so you can see the value in that. I would definitely consider them again in the future. Hope this helps.

I just put on my 19x8.5 with an et35 and I wanted to add 5mm spacers to have an et30 offset.

For those who are running 5mm spacers, what brand spacers did you guys use and were they hubcentric with the extra hub sticking out? Also any wheel vibration with the addition of spacers?

I was planning on getting H&R but I wasn't sure if these would work: http://www.evosport.com/product/prod...HL.SPC.512.610

Thanks!

none
Enkei doesnt make a lot of wheels in 5 x 112 bolt pattern so that should limit your options
I have NTO3's now but am looking to upgrade these soon!

Youre going to need a very low offset on your wheels. I'd say it'd have to be +15 or lower... if you want ridiculous take a look at one of my friends from Team Ikon and his Z he's running 19x10 et -8 infront and 19x11 et-20 in rear... These guys are all about mad offsets and stretching their tires.

anyone who does the Z or the S2k like that for non-performance reason = FAIL.
