18x8 in the front with 18x9.5 +35 all around. For a flush look, will these work without spacers? Going on a 02 c240 with tein springs. What tires would be best: 215 or 225 front, 245 or 255 rear?

will fit fine, if you want flush you'll want to put some spacers on it, least 10mm in front and 5mm in rear. be ready to roll the fender in rear if you want a good flush look. do you want a stretch look or comfort? 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear is the norm

back with another n00b question. I did my research and found this post, but I still have questions.
There are some Hamann's with 3.5" lips I'm looking to purchase and I can get them in 2 different fitments.
19x8.5 +35 all around..or
19x8.5 +35 Front and 19x10 +35 Rear.
It seems like +35 will clear the front, but it's close. I don't have any coilovers and my 03 c230k isn't lowered. I have no idea about the rear. From my reading, 19x8.5 with +35 will clear the front, but I can't find anything as it relates to 19x8.5 on the rear with +35.
I plan on going with new Toyo Proxes 4 Plus. If i go with 19x8.5 all around I was going to get 235/35/19. If I go with 19x10 maybe 275/30/19?? Am i going to fit? spacers? fender rolling?
I'm leaning towards the non-staggered setup because I would like to get more tread life out of my tires since I'm currently on staggered. But I could go either way.
thanks!

imo...it will look better with 8,5 and 10"... 225 in front, 255 at rear.
8,5 ET35 fits nice, but very close from damper..5mm spacer and it will be perfect. at rear, 10 ET35 will need spacer, I'm running 10 ET22 and it still need bigger spacer..but I'm running stretched tyres, so if you not, the better is to run a 10/15mm spacer at rear to a final ET of 20/25.

what about running 19x8.5 all the way around? Is the +35 going to fit?. The less I have to worry about putting more money into spacers, the better... I'm only going to have this car for a few more months, but it needs a new set of wheels.
Edit... if it's 19x8.5 vs 9.5 vs 10.. if they all have +35, is the answer always going to be the same?

if you have spacers and the offset is kinda low it will rub the fender because upper part of the tire will be closer to the fender so when you turn your tires it will rub because if you think about it if you have a higher offset you're wheels will be sunken in more in the body of the car so you'll have a lot more turning area then if you have a lower offset.

Trying to figure out how some claim to have 19's with no rubbing....
How about this, for tire pressure. My tires list max psi as 50, should I be filling them to mb pressures? 40psi? 35psi? I've always made it a rule to do 10 below the max on te tire even all around.

do recommended mb pressure or around 35psi.
Some with 19s that dont rub might have a high offset and the tire sidewalls are usually 35 and 30 series so the tires are thinner than those that run 18 which have 40 and 35 series tires. So the the overall diameter and circumference of 19" tires is less.

Hey phister, what sizes/offsets do I need if I want to go non-staggered with 17''? 17x7.5 et 37 all the way? Or can I do wider rims without rubbing in the front? Then what size of the tires? I'm all stock.
Thanks!
Thanks!

you can go up to 17x.8.5 with 235/40/17 if you want , depending if you have the larger calipers your offset can range from +25-+38 . if you want a more aggressive look you can go 225 instead of 235.

has anyone heard anything about the spacers provided by Lugmanusa. I just found the site yesterday and could not find a good or bad customer or product review.

offset on the wheels usually say et 35 or something like that on the wheel. if not that it'll be on the box the wheels came on. as for spacers go with H&R or Ichiban that have been used by many members. make sure the bore is 66.56. I personally get all my spacers for motorsporthardware.

Nice, thanks!
I am thinking about clk500 wheels like this: click
They are 17x8.5 et 30 on the rear and 17x7.5 et 37 on the front.
I have "sport" calipers and drilled rotors on front.
Will I be ok if I use four 'rear' rims all around?

you dont need to remove the calipers to put lug bolts on, on european cars they use lug bolts instead of lug nuts to hold the wheels in. so if you get 10mm spacers you'll have to buy lug bolts with a longer shaft to make up the difference. you'll have to add 10mm to the shaft length to the right length. Just measure your lug bolt shaft length and then add 10mm to it to get the length you need for it with spacers.

Anyone running this particular setup:
http://esmwheels.com/access/esm-004-sl-18-p-98.html
F: 18x8, 5x112, ET32
R: 18x9, 5x112, ET40
Would be interested to hear on fitment/looks/quality of the wheel, especially what kind of casting method they use (gravity, low-pressure, counter-pressure, etc.).
Debating on whether to keep the stock staggered setup or convert to square setup. Thanks for your input!

I am getting ready to place my order for spacers - does any one have a photo of a mb with 15mm spacers vs 10mm spacers. I have never done this before and I am not sure what it would look like. I am not trying to trick out the car for a show or anything I just want to get the tires off of the shock towers.
