I think its more your offset that you should be worried about, I have the same set up that your asking about getting put in today or tomorrow. I will let you know how they go and what spacers I had to use.

Ok I just bought my 18's with 5mm spacers all around. Now I need help on what bolts I'll need to get. Was definitely an afterthought.

Any recommendations on wheel locks as well?

Can't wait to post pics next week

Youll want to grab your stock wheel and measure how much the stock lug bolt sticks out from the back of it. Now place the stock lug in the new wheels and do the same. Now subtract/add the length you need to get it to the length as the stock one sticking out. then you want to add 5mm more to accomidate the spacer. Our stock lug shaft length is 39.9mm. Radusa is a good company to buy from.

A question for all of you that have in the past or are running 19" wheels........
I'm looking to purchase a set of 19x8.5" and 19x9.5" with a et35, I'm rolling and pulling my fenders, going for a minor stance look.

What size tires should I run, what brands are suggested for a minor stretch, and where is the best and cheapest place to buy these tires?

All of your help is greatly appreciated!!

If your offsets are correct the 9.5 shouldn't rub in the back. You may have to just trim some of the bumper to fender bracket. I had 10's on the back when I had my W230, that's the only thing I had to do.

In terms of tires: Nitto 555, Hankook Ventus V12 are the best deals for what you are getting. Michelin's are the best if you have extra cash to spend. Pirelli's wear too quick but great if you need that extra traction.

I had 9.5x19 et35 with 245/40zr19 on my LM's and they didn't rub at all.
I run my car kinda low and stiff. The only time it rubbed was with a full trunk and 5 people in the car.

I had goodyear sp sportmaxxx. I like those tires very much!

@Peydidy: If you have the sportpackage you will need to run and 12mm spacer up front. I had a set of LM reps 8.5x19 et35 and 8.5x19 et35.

So I just ordered my BBS LM Replicas, And I was wondering if I will need spacers for my 07 c230 sedan?

The front setup is 19x8.5 and rear is 19x9.5

Another real quick question is how much should I lower it, and which springs should I get?

We need offsets to know if it'll fit. But from reading from the above post about reps you'll need spacers to fit the fronts.

Teins wont lower your 07 that much. H&R will lower it a good amount but you might need to get #3-4 pads so the rear doesn't drop too low so the fronts look off.

Defiantly going to need spacers. Iv been in the market for Some BBS LM Replicas for a couple of months now. I just drove 7 hours to LA (I am posting this from my hotel) and I am going to shop around in the LA area for some LMs tomorrow. As far as I have seen so far its pretty hard to find a direct fitment set of LM replicas for our cars. Good luck!

ok, so i've shipped my wheels off for refurb now, so it's time to get the other bits and pieces sorted while they are away, namely, spacers(?), bolts, locking bolts, tyres and make a decision on new MB centre caps, or get the brabus ones cleaned up.

Second opinions/experience and thoughts are always good, so i'd appreciate some other eyes looking over this.

so, quick refresh, i currently have 17" Mercedes Alshain Alloys :-
Front alloy wheels: 17x7.5" ET37
Wheel part number: MER B66471511
Additional alloy part number: A2034011802

Rear alloy wheels: 17x8.5" ET34
Wheel part number: MER B66471515
Additional alloy part number: A2034012402

And the New Wheels are 18" Brabus Monoblock VI Alloys :-
Front alloy wheels: 18x8.5" ET35
Wheel part number: BRA 612-858-35-RDK

Rear alloy wheels: 18x9.5" ET35
Wheel part number: BRA 612-958-35-RDK

so, i've been doing a little research at various sites to check out the size differences etc, given different tyre setups, Original fronts are 225/45/17 and Original Rears are 245/40/17.

Given the increase in rim widths i'm looking to go up a size on each i think (subject clearances etc) the rears, can, i know from the AMG option, go straight to 255/35/18 because that is an AMG option, the inset can also be shifted to ET30 as an option, giving 4 mm wider track over the original ET34 with no issues.

One of the sites i have been using, was this one, i have linked it because it puts all the info on the one calculation page (printouts below) Rims'n'Tires

the options i have been considering are,
225/40/18 or 235/40/18
and
245/35/18 or 255/35/18

Given the information, and looking over the results from that website, it would appear that to fit these to my 2005 C350 Coupe i don't actually need any spacers just the correct Brabus Bolts and high-security locking wheel bolts should i wish
This would be nice, and is backed up a little by this pdf file i found BRABUS_CL203_2005 which, if you look at the table on the back page, seems to indicate all i need is the bolts
(be careful not to get the wrong line in it, as there is a part number the same as mine showing as ET25 in that chart, but the part number is definitely for ET35, so there is at least one error in that chart that i can see)

so..... anyone got any thoughts, am i on the right track, or has someone already tried running this combination and found they needed spacers ? ...

the other thing i have noticed, is that in stock guise, with the steering on half to full lock, i dont exactly have an abundance of clearance front or rear of the tyre, can barely squeeze my fingers in the gap

No, the chart is correct. The et25 is with the 10mm spacer as it stated on the chart which on cars with bbk that is what you will need. Actually 5mm would do, but either one will do.

As for tires, 225 and 255 is typical, but if you want less understeer 235 on the front is better.

I ordered 19x8.5 35et front and 19x9.5 rear et40, will I have any problems?

Do I just need 12mm spacers in the front? and what kind of suspension do you have?

that's pretty much what i thought, and it should give minimal increase in stress to the steering links etc and should not feel much different/heavier on the steering.

Also, working on the principle that for 225's your looking for a rim width of between 7.5 and 9" and for 235's between 8 and 9.5" ..... and the ones i have are 8.5 then the 235's are going to sit better on the rim, and give more comparable visual match to the rear 255's sitting on 9.5" rims ..... i am not a fan of the rims being too wide visually for the tyre, and i hate tyre stretch !

all 18x8.5 from Brabus are ET35. on the parts list it shows you ET25 or ET30 with the added mention of 10mm or 5mm spacer listed in the additional info.

ET25 = ET35 + 10mm spacer

ET25 + 10mm spacer = ET15, not ET35.
