are you guys serious?

this is amazing, you guys own a mercedes not a CR-X, you got an amazing deal on the wheels, so buy tires already. and to gripe about a $100 here and there? Show the car and yourself some respect and buy some decent tires. Remember this isn't some civic where you can put fake mugen wheels and Nankag tires and expect to get " props" ... You guys all wanted your wheels the day you put your deposit, now that you have them they sit there and collect dust while everyone else that is waiting would have already bought some decent rubber and been rollin.

step it up.

i'm not even gonna respond to the guy before me.

i dont know a whole lot on tires, but i wanna know if the tire size would matter a whole lot if we just rolled the fenders? because i was planning on rolling the fenders anyways once i get coilovers (a LONG while from now). let me know guys. thanks

not sure what your question is...

you only have 2 size choice for the rear without the overall diameter being undersize or oversize 255/30/19 or 265/30/19.

if you are not going to lower the car then it shouldn't be a problem you'll only hear occational rubbing noise when carrying more than 4 ppl and that can be solved with some shaving of the plastic tab between the fender and the bumper.

Is it me or the dam TIRES cost more than the wheels. I hear you guys. We all got a good deal on wheels but than we have to pay for Center Caps that match, Tires, Lug nuts, mount&balance, make anything else on our cars match the wheels like the grill, etc. All this costs more than the wheels and on top of that, some people are looking to get Coilovers to get rid of any gap.

My point is that this isn't a Honda and its a Benz. But everything you do affects other things on the car. Its our Expensive hobbie that is killing us! CarCrazy!

Just make it look decent. I was looking at some cars on Cardomain and the 5 star rating on some of these cars are so ridiculous with the chrome ****. You got these guys doing chrome wheels with chrome mirrors and chrome fender pieces. Oh my goodness, they just killed a Benz

Most wheel/tire shops will have various bolts in stock, so why not check to see if yours does, then have them try some until one works. Has anyone even checked to verify that the stock ones won't work? Too much typing, too little installing!

want to buy your stock rims

stock 17x7.5 17x8.5 staggered like razorfish226. think thay are called adhiraz in the MB catalog.

when i got my bremmas i had a hassle with bolts eventually discount tire sent shorty bolts and i was fine.

BUY THE BEST TIRES YOU CAN. reeves callaway once said the car and driver were there to make the tires work. you wouldnt regret it..better road feel, handling, cornering, stopping distances......etc etc.

Anyone have 18" HP Evo Lightning wheels installed?

I've been offered four of these wheels at a very good price. So please let me your experiences with them, specially clearance problems. Also state if you've had your car lowered and if this added any new problems with clearances.

For all others, the wheels are 18X8, 38mm offset, 2.5" lip and I have a '04 C240.

I dont have mine yet

and: kind of disappointing to see how people persist in getting the wheels first, but then take another 3-4 weeks to get the rest set up.

apologies to you and Razorfish. Your sets are ready, but I've been lagging to send them out. I will try to get them out tomorrow.

I've been distracted to finish my own car this week...
